Abstract

A method for managing proprietary URLs, implemented using a web server, includes a storage unit and a processing unit. The method includes: the processing unit generating a proprietary URL and sending it via a messaging system; the processing unit determining whether a page preview request has been received; if the processing unit determines that a page preview request has been received, invalidating the proprietary URL; the processing unit determining whether a page browsing request has been received; and if the processing unit determines that a page browsing request has been received, sending back a proprietary page corresponding to the proprietary URL. This allows the proprietary URL to be invalidated immediately upon being leaked, thereby reducing the probability of proprietary information being leaked.

Claims

1. A method for managing proprietary URLs, implemented by a web server, the web server comprising a storage unit and a processing unit, the method comprising: the processing unit generating a proprietary URL and sending the proprietary URL via a messaging system; the processing unit determining whether a page preview request has been received; and when the processing unit determines that the page preview request has been received, the processing unit invalidating the proprietary URL.

The exclusive URL management method as described in Request 1 further includes: the processing unit determining whether a page browsing request has been received; and when the processing unit determines that the page browsing request has been received, the processing unit sending back an exclusive page corresponding to the exclusive URL.

3. The method for managing proprietary URLs as described in request item 1, wherein, The messaging system is either a text messaging server or an email server.

A website server adapted to communicate with a messaging system, comprising: a storage unit; and a processing unit electrically connected to the storage unit; the processing unit generating a unique URL and sending the unique URL via the messaging system; the processing unit determining whether a page preview request has been received; and when the processing unit determines that the page preview request has been received, the processing unit invalidating the unique URL.

The website server as described in claim 4, wherein, The processing unit determines whether a page browsing request has been received; when the processing unit determines that the page browsing request has been received, the processing unit sends back a dedicated page corresponding to the dedicated URL.
