Abstract

A method for preparing a contact lens preservation solution includes mixing and homogenizing an amphiphilic copolymer having the structure shown in Formula (I) with water to obtain a first mixture containing micelles; adding a lipophilic component containing lutein and zeaxanthin and homogenizing to obtain a second mixture containing a micelle complex; adding a moisturizing component and homogenizing to obtain a third mixture; adjusting the osmotic pressure and pH of the third mixture to obtain a fourth mixture; and homogenizing and filtering the fourth mixture to obtain the contact lens preservation solution. x, y, and z in Formula (I) are as described in the claims and specification. The preparation method of this invention allows lutein and zeaxanthin to dissolve in the contact lens preservation solution for a long time without precipitation, and gives contact lenses stored in the contact lens preservation solution anti-blue light effects. Claims

1. A method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses, comprising the following steps: (a) mixing an amphiphilic copolymer and water and homogenizing the mixture to form micelles from the amphiphilic copolymer, thereby obtaining a first mixture containing the micelles; (b) adding a lipophilic component containing lutein and zeaxanthin to the first mixture and homogenizing the mixture to encapsulate the lipophilic component within the micelles, thereby forming a micelle complex containing lutein and zeaxanthin, thereby obtaining a second mixture containing the micelle complex; (c) adding a functional component containing a moisturizing component to the second mixture and homogenizing the mixture to completely dissolve the functional component and the micelle complex, thereby obtaining a third mixture; (d) adjusting the osmotic pressure and pH of the third mixture to obtain a fourth mixture; and (e) homogenizing and filtering the fourth mixture to obtain a preservation solution for contact lenses; wherein, The amphiphilic copolymer has a structure as shown in formula (I), where x is 100, y ranges from 10 to 400, and z ranges from 2 to 50.

2. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, The lipophilic component also contains mesozecin.

3. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, The ratio of lutein to zeaxanthin is 5:

1.

4. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, The moisturizing component is selected from at least one of hyaluronic acid, tamarind gum, polyacrylic acid, carboxymethyl cellulose, dextran, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, alginic acid, and 2-methylpropenyloxyethylphosphocholine copolymer.

5. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, This functional component also contains a vitamin component.

6. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 5, wherein, The vitamin component is selected from at least one of vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, niacin, and folic acid.

7. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, The functional component also contains a pharmaceutical component.

8. The method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 7, wherein, The drug component is selected from at least one of menthol, tyrosine, taurine, potassium L-aspartate, neostigmine methyl sulfate, chlorpheniramine maleate, sodium flavin adenine dinucleotide, ε-aminohexanoic acid, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, zinc sulfate hydrate, berberine hydrochloride hydrate, tetrahydrozoline, naphazoline, chondroitin sulfate sodium, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride.

9. A method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, Step (d) involves adjusting the osmotic pressure of the third mixture using at least one of sodium chloride and potassium chloride.

10. A method for preparing a preservation solution for contact lenses as described in claim 1, wherein, Step (d) involves adjusting the pH of the third mixture with at least one of borate, phosphate, and carbonate.
