Abstract

A power converter with a replaceable plug includes: a base and a replaceable plug. The base includes a lower housing, two elastic conductive sheets, and a circuit unit. The lower housing provides a circular receiving space. Both elastic conductive sheets penetrate the lower housing. The portions of the elastic conductive sheets located in the receiving space are configured to be compressible along a pressing direction. The replaceable plug includes a rotating head and two electrodes. The rotating head has a circular outer contour that matches the receiving space and is rotatable relative to the lower housing along a circumferential direction. The two electrodes penetrate the rotating head and are positioned to match the two elastic conductive sheets. The lower housing has a dry... The rotating head of this invention has a latching member facing the receiving space. In an unlocked position, the latching member and the interfering member do not interfere in the pressing direction. In a locked position, the interfering member and the latching member interfere with each other in the rotational direction and in the opposite direction of the pressing direction. When the rotating head is subjected to external force and penetrates deeper into the receiving space in the pressing direction, causing the depth of the latching member in the pressing direction to be greater than the depth of the interfering member, the rotating head is allowed to rotate relative to the lower housing in the circumferential direction. When the external force is removed, two elastic conductive sheets push the rotating head into the unlocked or locked position. This invention's replaceable plug power converter uses the rotating head as a direct push switch, preventing accidental contact by the user during plugging / unplugging or other states, which could lead to unintended separation of the plug from the socket.

Claims

1. A power converter with a replaceable plug, comprising: a body including a lower housing, two elastic conductive sheets, and a circuit unit, the lower housing providing a circular receiving space, the two elastic conductive sheets penetrating the lower housing such that a portion of each elastic conductive sheet is located within the receiving space and another portion is located outside the receiving space, the portion of the elastic conductive sheet located within the receiving space being compressible along a pressing direction, the circuit unit being electrically connected to the two elastic conductive sheets; and a replaceable plug including a rotating head and two electrodes, the rotating head having a circular outer contour matching the receiving space and being rotatable relative to the lower housing along a circumferential direction, the two electrodes penetrating the rotating head and positioned to match the two elastic conductive sheets, wherein... The lower housing has an interference member located in the accommodating space, and the rotating head has a latching member facing the accommodating space. When the rotating head and the lower housing are in an unlocked position, the latching member and the interference member do not interfere in the pressing direction. When the rotating head and the lower housing are in a locked position, the interference member and the latching member interfere with each other in the rotational direction and opposite to the pressing direction. When the rotating head is subjected to an external force and penetrates deeper into the accommodating space in the pressing direction, causing the depth of the latching member in the pressing direction to be greater than the depth of the interference member, the rotating head is allowed to rotate relative to the lower housing in the circumferential direction. When the external force is removed, the two elastic conductive sheets push the rotating head into the unlocked or locked position. The interference member is disposed at the periphery of the accommodating space. The interference member includes an interference portion and an extension portion. The depth of the interference portion extending in the pressing direction is greater than the depth of the extension portion extending in the pressing direction. One side of the interference portion in the periphery direction provides space for the latching member to be in the unlocking position. The other side of the interference portion in the periphery direction connects to the extension portion, forming a latching groove structure with the extension portion. The latching member is configured to be able to pass over the interference member from the side of the interference portion and enter the latching groove structure.

2. The power converter with a replaceable plug as described in claim 1, wherein each of the two elastic conductive sheets has a fixed end, a movable end and an intermediate portion, the fixed end is fixedly connected to the bottom surface of the lower housing, the movable end is movably abutting against the bottom surface of the lower housing, and the intermediate portion connects the fixed end and the movable end and protrudes from the bottom surface of the lower housing into the accommodating space.

3. The power converter with a replaceable plug as claimed in claim 1, wherein the latching member includes an arm and a latching portion, the arm extending in the pressing direction, and the latching portion disposed on the arm and protruding toward the periphery of the receiving space.

4. A power converter with a replaceable plug as described in claim 3, wherein the lower housing has a groove communicating with the receiving space, the depth of the groove in the pressing direction being greater than the depth of the receiving space in the pressing direction, and a wall of the groove in the peripheral direction and the arm restrict the maximum rotational stroke of the rotating head in the peripheral direction.

5. A power converter with a replaceable plug as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lower housing is provided with at least one foolproof structure disposed at the periphery of the accommodating space, the rotating head is provided with a matching structure of the shape and number matching the foolproof structure, and the foolproof structure and the matching structure restrict the rotating head from pressing the two elastic conductive sheets at the unlocked position.

6. A power converter with a replaceable plug as described in claim 5, wherein the number of the foolproof structure is three, and the three foolproof structures and the interference element are equally distributed around the periphery of the accommodating space.

7. A power converter with a replaceable plug, comprising: a body including a lower housing, two elastic conductive sheets, and a circuit unit, the lower housing providing a circular receiving space, the two elastic conductive sheets penetrating the lower housing such that a portion of the two elastic conductive sheets is located within the receiving space and another portion is located outside the receiving space, the portion of the elastic conductive sheet located within the receiving space being compressible along a pressing direction, the circuit unit being electrically connected to the two elastic conductive sheets; and a replaceable plug including a rotating head and two electrodes, the rotating head having a circular outer contour matching the receiving space and being rotatable relative to the lower housing along a circumferential direction, the two electrodes penetrating the rotating head and positioned to match the two elastic conductive sheets, wherein... The lower housing is provided with at least one anti-fooling structure disposed at the periphery of the accommodating space. The rotating head is provided with matching structures whose shape and number match the anti-fooling structure. The anti-fooling structure and the matching structure restrict the rotating head from pressing the two elastic conductive sheets at the unlocking position. The anti-fooling structure is a flange disposed at the accommodating space. The anti-fooling structure is configured such that when the rotating head is in the unlocking position, the matching structure matches the anti-fooling structure in the periphery direction and interferes with each other in the periphery direction.
