Abstract

The safety mechanism detection device includes a temperature detection circuit and a voltage detection circuit. The temperature detection circuit detects a plurality of operating temperatures of the chip to generate a plurality of temperature values. The voltage detection circuit detects whether the power supply voltage used to drive the chip has been fully energized to generate a valid signal, detects a voltage under test in the chip to generate first and second voltage values, generates a plurality of voltage detection signals based on the first and second voltage values, and generates a voltage detection result based on the plurality of voltage detection signals when the valid signal is a predetermined value, indicating whether a voltage error has occurred in the chip. When the valid signal is a predetermined value, the plurality of temperature values are used to generate a temperature detection result to determine whether a temperature error has occurred in the chip.
