Abstract

This invention proposes a display device comprising a backlight module and a display panel. The display panel is disposed on the backlight module, which includes a back frame, a lamp board, a light guide plate, a plurality of light-emitting elements, and a fixing frame. The back frame includes a base plate and a side wall, the side wall being disposed at the edge of the base plate, and the base plate having a connecting portion. The lamp board and the light guide plate are disposed on the back frame, and the light guide plate is connected to the lamp board. The light-emitting elements are spaced apart on the lamp board. The fixing frame is coupled to the back frame and extends along the side wall of the back frame. The fixing frame includes at least one discontinuous opening, at least one end, and a locking unit, the end being adjacent to the opening. The locking unit is formed at the end and engages with the connecting portion, thereby preventing the fixing frame from lifting and separating relative to the back frame, improving the stability of the connection, and enabling application in narrow bezel designs.

Claims

1. A backlight module, comprising: a back frame, comprising: a base plate and a side wall, the side wall being disposed at the edge of the base plate, the base plate having a connecting portion, and the side wall having a through hole formed through the connecting portion; a lamp plate disposed on the back frame, the lamp plate having a protrusion passing through the through hole and located at the connecting portion, the protrusion having a through perforation; a light guide plate disposed on the back frame and connected to the lamp plate; a plurality of light-emitting elements spaced apart from the lamp plate; and a fixing frame coupled to the back frame; wherein... The fixing frame extends along the side wall of the back frame and includes at least one discontinuous opening, at least one end and a locking unit. The at least one end is adjacent to the at least one opening, the locking unit is formed at the at least one end and engages with the connecting portion, and the locking unit passes through the perforation.

2. The backlight module as described in claim 1, wherein: The joint has a fixing hole that passes through the back frame; and the engaging unit includes a positioning pin that passes through the fixing hole.

3. The backlight module as described in claim 2, wherein: The locking unit further includes a latch that is connected to the positioning pin and abuts against the back frame.

4. The backlight module as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein: The engaging unit includes a connecting hole that passes through the fixing frame; and the engaging portion passes through the connecting hole.

5. The backlight module as described in claim 4, wherein: The base plate further includes a protruding rib disposed at the joint and used to abut against the fixing frame.

6. The backlight module as described in any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein, The joint protrudes from the side wall.

7. The backlight module as described in any one of claims 1 to 5, further comprising: an adhesive element disposed between the sidewall and the fixing frame.
