Abstract

A backlight module includes a substrate, a plurality of first light-emitting elements, a plurality of second light-emitting elements, and a reflective layer. The plurality of first light-emitting elements and the plurality of second light-emitting elements are located on the substrate. The reflective layer has a first reflective region and a second reflective region. A plurality of first reflective structures are located in the first reflective regions and respectively surround the plurality of first light-emitting elements. A plurality of second reflective structures are located in the second reflective regions and respectively surround the plurality of second light-emitting elements. The thickness of each of the first reflective structures is greater than or equal to the thickness of each of the second reflective structures, and the thickness of at least one of the second reflective structures decreases with distance from the first reflective region.

Claims

1. A backlight module, comprising: One substrate; Multiple first light-emitting elements and multiple second light-emitting elements are located on the substrate; And a reflective layer having a first reflective area and a second reflective area, and including: a plurality of first reflective structures located in the first reflective area and respectively surrounding the first light-emitting elements; and a plurality of second reflective structures located in the second reflective region and surrounding the second light-emitting elements, wherein the thickness of each of the first reflective structures is greater than or equal to the thickness of each of the second reflective structures, and the thickness of at least one of the second reflective structures decreases as it moves away from the first reflective region, wherein the number of the second reflective regions is greater than one.

2. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first reflective region surrounds the second reflective region.

3. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second reflective area is disposed at the edge of the reflective layer.

4. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second reflective area is a circular region or a polygonal region.

5. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least a portion of the second reflective structures have the same thickness.

6. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second reflective structures are interconnected and form a plurality of T-shaped cross-sectional structures.

7. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first reflective structures are interconnected and form a plurality of T-shaped cross-sectional structures.

8. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the reflective layer comprises polycarbonate and a silver plating layer.

9. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tilt of at least a portion of the sidewalls of the first reflective structures and / or at least a portion of the sidewalls of the second reflective structures is adjustable.

10. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one of the second reflective structures has a sloping top.

11. A direct-lit backlight module for automotive applications, comprising: One substrate; Multiple first light-emitting elements and multiple second light-emitting elements are located on the substrate; And a reflective layer having a first reflective area and a second reflective area, and including: a plurality of first reflective structures located in the first reflective area and respectively surrounding the first light-emitting elements; and a plurality of second reflective structures located in the second reflective region and surrounding the second light-emitting elements, wherein the thickness of each of the first reflective structures is greater than or equal to the thickness of each of the second reflective structures, and the thickness of at least one of the second reflective structures decreases as it moves away from the first reflective region, wherein the number of the second reflective regions is greater than one.
