Plant extract deodorant and its preparation method

Abstract

A plant extract deodorant comprises a plant extract at a weight percentage of 5-95 wt%; a stabilizer at a weight percentage of 0.1-10 wt%; and water at a weight percentage of 5-90 wt%. The preparation method of this invention includes washing and drying a plant material; pulverizing the plant material and extracting a plant extract using water distillation or water extraction; filtering and concentrating the plant extract to obtain a concentrated plant extract; and mixing the concentrated plant extract with water and a stabilizer to form a plant extract deodorant. This invention uses natural plant extracts as its core raw material, and the deodorant has the dual advantages of rapid response and high-efficiency deodorization, making it friendly to both humans and the environment.

Claims

1. A plant extract deodorant comprising: a plant extract comprising 5-95 wt% of the total weight, wherein the plant extract is a tea tree, lavender, thyme, cinnamon, or rose extract; a stabilizer comprising 0.1-10 wt% of the total weight; an additive comprising a preservative or a pH adjuster comprising 0.1-5 wt% of the total weight; and water comprising 5-90 wt% of the total weight.

2. The plant extract deodorant as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stabilizer is glycerin, propylene glycol or ethylene glycol.

3. A method for preparing a plant extract deodorant, comprising: washing and drying a plant material, the plant material being tea tree, lavender, thyme, cinnamon, or rose; pulverizing the plant material into a plurality of plant powders; extracting a plant extract from each of the plant powders by water distillation or water immersion; filtering and concentrating the plant extract to obtain a plant extract concentrate; mixing the plant extract concentrate with water and a stabilizing liquid to form a plant extract deodorant; and adding an additive to the plant extract deodorant, the additive being a preservative or a pH adjuster.

4. The method for preparing the plant extract deodorant as described in claim 5 further includes adjusting the pH value of the plant extract deodorant to 5-7.

5. A method for preparing a plant extract deodorant as described in claim 5, wherein the stabilizer is glycerin, propylene glycol, or ethylene glycol.

6. The method for preparing the plant extract deodorant as described in claim 5, wherein each plant powder is extracted by water distillation or water immersion at a water temperature of 80-100°C for 30-60 minutes to obtain the plant extract.
