Abstract

A progressive dual-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretching aid includes: a lifting mechanism, whose linkage is driven by a drive source to lift or lower a movable end; a guide rail frame, one side of which is pivotally connected to the movable end, and the other side having a guide groove; a sliding plate for the user's arm to rest against, and slidably disposed on the guide groove; and a rotation adjustment mechanism for supporting the lifting mechanism and being fixed in a first operating position enabling "arm forward" or a second operating position enabling "arm side raise". Thus, when the linkage rises or falls, the sliding plate and the guide rail frame passively slide and rotate in accordance with the arm posture, forming a dual-degree-of-freedom mechanism to absorb thrust and reduce pressure and friction on the shoulder joint.

Claims

1. A progressive dual-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretching aid, comprising: a lifting mechanism including a linkage and a drive source, the linkage having a fixed end and a movable end, the linkage being driven by the drive source to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the height of the movable end of the linkage; a guide rail frame, one side of the guide rail frame being rotatably pivotally connected to the movable end of the linkage, the other side of the guide rail frame having a guide groove; and a sliding plate for a user's arm to rest on the sliding plate, the sliding plate being slidably disposed on the guide groove of the guide rail frame via at least one guide wheel; and a rotation adjustment mechanism for supporting the lifting mechanism and allowing the lifting mechanism to be selectively fixed to a first operating position or a second operating position relative to a mounting plane. In this way, when the movable end of the linkage rod is raised or lowered, the sliding plate moves along the guide groove by a relative movement generated by the user's arm abutting against the sliding plate, and the guide rail bracket rotates synchronously by the posture of the user's arm abutting against the sliding plate when the height is raised or lowered.

2. The progressive two-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 1, wherein the lifting mechanism further includes a worm gear and a worm, wherein the worm is driven by the drive source to rotate the worm gear, and the fixed end of the linkage is connected to the worm gear and rotates clockwise or counterclockwise by the rotation of the worm gear.

3. The progressive two-DOF shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 2, wherein the drive source includes a rotating handle, wherein the rotating handle is connected to the worm gear via a flexible transmission rod.

4. The progressive two-DOF shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 1, wherein the drive source is a motor.

5. The progressive two-degree-of-freedom fifty-shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 1, wherein the lifting mechanism, the guide rail and the sliding plate are fixedly or detachably mounted on a seat.

6. The progressive two-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 1, wherein one side of the guide rail is pivotally connected to the movable end of the linkage via a pivot shaft.

7. The progressive two-DOF shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 1, wherein the first operating position enables the user's arm to perform a forward arm stretch, and the second operating position enables the user's arm to perform a lateral arm stretch.

8. The progressive two-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretcher as described in claim 6 further includes an elastic element connected between the guide rail and the linkage to provide a buffer or auxiliary force, wherein the guide rail or a structural member connected to the guide rail has a plurality of position adjustment holes, and the elastic element or the pivoting shaft can be selectively mounted on one of the position adjustment holes to adjust the mounting height of an arm support assembly, wherein the arm support assembly includes the guide rail and the sliding plate.

The progressive two-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretching aid as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rotation adjustment mechanism comprises: a fixed base; a rotating base for supporting the lifting mechanism, and the rotating base is rotatable relative to the fixed base; and a locking element for fixing the rotating base to the first operating position or the second operating position.

10. The progressive two-degree-of-freedom frozen shoulder stretching aid as described in claim 9, wherein the first operating position and the second operating position are separated by ninety degrees.
