Abstract
Claims
1. An antenna management method applied to a multi-antenna device to manage a plurality of antennas in the multi-antenna device, wherein the antennas are used to establish at least one connection channel with an external device, the antenna management method comprising: declaring that a first antenna among the antennas remains on the at least one connection channel and a second antenna among the antennas does not remain on the at least one connection channel; and causing the second antenna to perform a first function.
2. The antenna management method as described in claim 1, wherein the multi-antenna device is a non-access point multi-antenna device, and the first function includes channel scanning function, roaming function, shutdown function, 802.11 AZ positioning function, 802.11 BF WiFi sensing function, and wireless communication function sharing an antenna with WiFi.
3. The antenna management method as described in claim 2, wherein the first antenna and the second antenna jointly establish one of the at least one connection channels with the external device, the antenna management method comprising: declaring a change in the capability of the multi-antenna device to remain in the first connection channel, such that the first antenna remains in the first connection channel and the second antenna does not remain in the first connection channel.
4. The antenna management method as described in claim 2, wherein the first antenna establishes a first connection channel with the external device among the at least one connection channels, and the second antenna establishes a second connection channel with the external device among the at least one connection channels, the antenna management method comprising: the multi-antenna device registering the second antenna to the external device to enter a sleep state, so that the first antenna remains in the at least one connection channel, and the second antenna does not remain in the at least one connection channel.
5. The antenna management method as described in claim 2, wherein when the first function is the channel scanning function, the antenna management method further includes: after the second antenna performs the first function, declaring that the first antenna and the second antenna remain in the at least one connection channel.
6. The antenna management method as described in claim 2, wherein when the first function is the roaming function, the antenna management method further comprises: after the second antenna performs the first function, causing the first antenna to not remain on the at least one connection channel, and causing the first antenna and the second antenna to establish a third connection channel with a second external device.
7. The antenna management method as described in claim 1, wherein the multi-antenna device is an access point multi-antenna device, and the first function includes a channel switching announcement function, a shutdown function, a dynamic frequency selection function, an 802.11 AZ positioning function, an 802.11 BF WiFi sensing function, and a wireless communication function that shares an antenna with WiFi.
8. The antenna management method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the first antenna and the second antenna jointly establish one of the at least one connection channels with the external device, the antenna management method comprising: declaring a change in the capability of the multi-antenna device to remain in the first connection channel, such that the first antenna remains in the first connection channel and the second antenna does not remain in the first connection channel.
9. The antenna management method as described in claim 7, wherein when the first function is the channel switching announcement function, the antenna management method includes: after the second antenna performs the first function, establishing a fourth connection channel with the external device that is different from the at least one connection channel.
10. The antenna management method as described in claim 7, wherein when the first function is the channel switching announcement function, the antenna management method comprises: after announcing that the second antenna is not maintained on the at least one connection channel, causing the second antenna to perform a channel scanning function to find one of the most suitable connection channels with the external device; and causing the second antenna to perform the first function based on the result of the second antenna performing the channel scanning function.
