Abstract

A compensation method and a touch sensing circuit for compensating touch sensing data of a touch display panel are disclosed. The compensation method includes generating a feature value based on a touch sensing frame, wherein the feature value is related to the signal diffusion degree of the touch sensing frame; then, a weight is determined based on the feature value to determine a filter, wherein the filter consists of a plurality of filter coefficients, and each filter coefficient is calculated based on the weight. The determined filter is then applied to the touch sensing frame to generate a compensated touch sensing frame. By employing this technical solution, the present invention can compensate for the non-uniformity of touch sensing data caused by process deviations in a touch display panel, exhibiting significant effectiveness in data compensation for touch display panels.

Claims

1. A compensation method for compensating touch sensing data of a touch display panel, the compensation method comprising: A feature value is generated based on a touch sensing frame, wherein the feature value is related to the signal diffusion degree of the touch sensing frame; a weight is determined based on the feature value; a filter is determined, wherein the filter consists of a plurality of filter coefficients, and each filter coefficient is calculated based on the weight; and the determined filter is applied to the touch sensing frame to generate a compensated touch sensing frame.

2. The compensation method as described in claim 1, wherein, The determined weight is related to the resistance value of one of the high-impedance layers of the touch display panel.

The compensation method as described in claim 1, wherein, The step of determining the weight based on the feature value further includes: using a lookup table storing a plurality of pre-configured weights to determine the weight, wherein the pre-configured weights correspond to a plurality of pre-configured feature values.

The compensation method as described in claim 1, wherein, The step of applying the determined filter to the touch sensing frame further includes: applying the filter to each touch sensing data in the touch sensing frame to generate each compensated touch sensing data of the compensated touch sensing frame.

A touch sensing circuit for compensating touch sensing data of a touch display panel, the touch sensing circuit comprising: A feature value generation module generates a feature value based on a touch sensing frame, wherein the feature value is related to the signal diffusion degree of the touch sensing frame; a weight determination module electrically coupled to the feature value generation module determines a weight based on the feature value; a filter generation module electrically coupled to the weight determination module, wherein the filter generation module is adapted to determine and generate a filter composed of a plurality of filter coefficients, and each filter coefficient is calculated based on the weight; and a frame generation module electrically coupled to the filter generation module, wherein the frame generation module applies the determined filter to the touch sensing frame to generate a compensated touch sensing frame.

6. The touch sensing circuit as described in claim 5, wherein, The determined weight is related to the resistance value of one of the high-impedance layers of the touch display panel.

7. The touch sensing circuit as described in claim 5, wherein, The weight determination module uses a lookup table storing a plurality of pre-configured weights to determine the weight, wherein these pre-configured weights correspond to a plurality of pre-configured feature values.
