Abstract

This invention relates to a video streaming system with remote control capabilities, comprising at least one transmitting device connected to a video source device and at least one receiving device connected to a video display device. The transmitting device includes an HDMI interface, at least two USB interfaces, and a network interface. One of the at least two USB interfaces is used to connect to the video source device, while the other USB interfaces are used to directly connect to at least one input device. The system allows control of the directly connected transmitting or receiving device, or control of other transmitting or receiving devices via a network connection, thereby achieving remote control functionality.

Claims

1. A video streaming system with remote control functionality, comprising: at least one transmitting device for connecting to a video source device to transmit a video signal from the video source device; and at least one receiving device for connecting to a video display device, wherein the transmitting device transmits the video signal to the receiving device via a network in a broadcast manner and plays it on the video display device; the network is a wired network and / or a wireless network; the receiving device is connected to a second input device to receive a second control signal and remotely controls the video source device connected to the transmitting device via the network; and the second control signal is transmitted to the transmitting device via a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), wherein the transmitting device is configured to perform the following action to achieve remote control: Action S6: The transmitting device acquires a first control signal from at least one first input device through a first HID control module; Action S7: The first HID control module encapsulates the first control signal into a packet for network transmission and transmits the packet using a TCP protocol; Action S8: At least one other transmitting device receives the packet through a first network transmission module and parses the packet through the first HID control module to obtain the first control signal; Action S9: The first HID control module of at least one other transmitting device uses USB OTG technology to convert the first control signal to simulate the behavior of a USB HID device; and Action S10: The first control signal is used to control the image source device connected to at least one other transmitting device.
