Abstract

This invention relates to a tool-free rivet gun with replaceable grippers, comprising: a main unit containing a rivet pulling mechanism, the front end of which has a screw that extends through and reciprocates; a locking unit fitted onto the front end of the screw, movable along the screw's axial direction, the locking unit having a locking portion at its front end; and a sleeve located at the front end of the screw, the sleeve having a chamber communicating with the through groove, the rear end of the sleeve having an overlapping portion that is locked by the locking portion and cannot detach from the screw. During rivet pulling, the sleeve is fixed by the locking unit and will not detach from the screw. By separating the locking unit from the sleeve, the sleeve can be disassembled without tools, making the gripper assembly inside the sleeve easy to replace.

Claims

1. A tool-free rivet gun with replaceable grippers, comprising: a main unit having an assembly space therein and a through-hole at its front end; a rivet pulling mechanism disposed within the assembly space of the main unit; a screw disposed at the front end of the rivet pulling mechanism, which can pass through the through-hole and reciprocate; a through-groove formed within the screw; an elastic element and a push head disposed within the through-groove; a locking unit sleeved on the front end of the screw and movable along the axial direction of the screw; a locking portion disposed at the front end of the locking unit; a sleeve disposed at the front end of the screw and rotatable with the screw; a chamber disposed within the sleeve communicating with the through-groove; an overlapping portion formed at the rear end of the sleeve, the overlapping portion being locked by the locking portion and unable to detach from the screw; and a gripper assembly sleeved within the chamber of the sleeve, the push head driving the gripper assembly to move within the chamber.

2. The rivet gun as described in claim 1, wherein: The screw has a connecting sleeve at its front end, a flange protruding around its circumference, and a threaded portion at its front end. The locking unit is located between the flange and the threaded portion and can move axially in the connecting sleeve.
