Abstract

A circuit board handling device is suitable for handling a plurality of circuit boards, each circuit board having an upper edge and a lower edge. The circuit board handling device includes a frame, a plurality of support units, and a plurality of clamping units. The frame defines an internal space. The support units are disposed on the frame and arranged in a front-back direction. Each clamping unit is used to clamp the upper edge of a corresponding circuit board and place it in the corresponding support unit, so that the corresponding circuit board is accommodated in the internal space. The circuit boards naturally sag under their own weight, preventing the circuit boards, which are made of softer materials or are thinner, from bending and touching each other or causing the circuit to bend and break.

Claims

1. A circuit board handling device suitable for handling a plurality of circuit boards, each circuit board having an upper edge and a lower edge, the circuit board handling device comprising: a frame defining an internal space; a plurality of support units disposed on the frame and arranged in a front-back direction; and a plurality of clamping units, each clamping unit being used to clamp the upper edge of a corresponding circuit board and place it in the corresponding support unit, such that the corresponding circuit board is accommodated in the internal space.

The circuit board handling apparatus as described in claim 1, wherein, The frame includes two side frames located on opposite sides of the interior space along a left-right direction that intersects the front-back direction. Each load-bearing unit includes two support members respectively disposed on the side frames and spaced apart along the left-right direction. Each clamping unit includes an upper crossbar extending along the left-right direction and at least one upper clamp disposed on the upper crossbar for clamping the circuit board. Each upper crossbar has two upper ends disposed opposite along the left-right direction for abutting against the upper ends of the support members of the corresponding load-bearing unit.

The circuit board handling apparatus as described in claim 2, wherein, Each support member has a track extending in a vertical direction that intersects the front-back direction and the left-right direction, and a support portion disposed at the top of the track for supporting the corresponding upper end. The circuit board transport device also includes a plurality of counterweight units, each of which is used to clamp the lower edge of the corresponding circuit board and can move along the corresponding two tracks.

The two hook portions of each lower clamp extend outward and downward in opposite directions.

The circuit board handling apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein, Each of the support members has a bearing portion for abutting one of the upper ends of the corresponding upper crossbar, and each upper crossbar also has two stops respectively disposed at the upper ends, and each bearing portion is used to restrict the movement of the corresponding stop portion toward the inside of the frame.
