Abstract

A sealing element for installation on a door includes a base, a fixing element, and a flexible strip. The base includes a body, a front extension, and a rear extension. The front and rear extensions are connected to a front end and a rear end of the body and extend downward. The front and rear extensions form a front transverse groove and a rear transverse groove. The fixing element is inserted from a bottom surface of the body of the base and passes through a top surface and the door. The flexible strip includes a top and a shell. The top has a first tenon and a second tenon. The shell is connected to the top and extends downward. The first and second tenons are respectively inserted into the front transverse groove and the rear transverse groove, thereby fixing the flexible strip to the base.

Claims

1. A seal for mounting on the bottom of a door, the seal comprising: a base including a body, a front extension and a rear extension, the front extension and the rear extension being respectively connected to a front end and a rear end of the body and extending downwardly, the front extension and the rear extension forming a front transverse groove and a rear transverse groove; a fixing element configured to be inserted from a bottom surface of the body of the base and through a top surface, and further through the bottom of the door to lock the base to the door; and a flexible strip including a top and a shell, the top having a first tenon and a second tenon extending laterally forward and backward, the shell being connected to the top and extending downwardly, wherein... The first tenon and the second tenon are respectively inserted into the front transverse groove and the rear transverse groove, so that the flexible strip is fixed to the base.

2. The seal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fixing element is a self-tapping screw.

3. The seal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bottom surface of the body is provided with a recess for insertion of the fixing element.

4. The seal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing portion includes a front baffle, a rear baffle, and an arched portion connecting the front baffle and the rear baffle, the housing portion defining a transversely hollow portion.

5. The seal as claimed in claim 4, wherein the shell portion further includes a rib disposed in the transverse hollow portion.

6. The seal as claimed in claim 4, wherein the housing portion further includes a baffle disposed on an outer surface of the arched portion.

7. The seal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flexible strip is a hollow structure.

8. The seal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flexible strip is integrally formed.

9. The seal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the door body is a rolling iron door.

10. A rolling shutter assembly, comprising: A rolling iron door; And a seal as described in any one of claims 1 to 8, provided at one bottom of the rolling shutter.
