Abstract

This invention provides an adhesive composition possessing strong adhesion and light peelability. It exhibits excellent adhesion to the adherend even at high temperatures, and upon contact with warm water during peeling, it can be peeled off with relatively light peeling force without leaving any paste residue. The adhesive composition of this invention comprises an acrylic polymer and a surfactant. The acrylic polymer contains alkoxy-containing (meth)acrylate monomers as its main component, and each 100 parts by mass of all monomer structural units comprises 1 to 40 parts by mass of homopolymer structural units with a Tg of 0°C or higher.
