Abstract

A musical instrument pickup structure mainly consists of a clamp and a pickup component. The clamp includes an upper fitting part and a lower fitting part of an upper pressing part, which are assembled after passing through a through shaft. Each of the upper and lower pressing parts has a support at an appropriate position, providing a spring for insertion and thereby generating the upper and lower pressing parts to press against each other. On the other side of the clamp opposite to the through shaft, a fixing seat is provided for assembling the pickup component. The pickup component is assembled into the fixing seat of the clamp. The pickup component consists of a combination tube, an upper tone element with a receiver tube, and a lower tone element with a receiver tube. The lower tone element is assembled into a fixing hole in the fixing seat of the clamp. Thus, the musical instrument pickup structure is assembled.

Description

Musical instrument pickup structure The present invention relates to a musical instrument pickup structure that utilizes a combination of upper and lower sound pickup tubes, particularly one that can be clamped to the bell of a saxophone. The upper sound pickup tube picks up the sound from the bell, while the lower sound pickup tube picks up the mid-bass sound coming from the bottom of the saxophone, thereby achieving a more complete sound pickup effect. Currently, when playing a musical instrument, whether for playback or mixing, a sound pickup device (microphone) is usually installed on the musical instrument to collect sound. Therefore, a sound pickup device, such as the musical instrument sound pickup device announced on June 1, 2012, Certificate No. M430691, discloses a musical instrument sound pickup device suitable for installation on a musical instrument and comprising: a positioning clamp, including a clamp body for clamping the musical instrument, and two clamps respectively installed on the clamp body and movable by the clamp body to clamp against the surface of the musical instrument. The invention relates to a soft shock-absorbing pad, the clamp body having a clamping notch running through it from top to bottom; a suspension component, including a flexure rod that can be flexibly deformed, a signal terminal fixed to the bottom end of the flexure rod and detachably embedded in the clamping notch, and a soft U-shaped clamp fixed to the top end of the flexure rod and having two free ends spaced apart and facing each other; and a sound pickup component, including a soft shock-absorbing sleeve spanning the free ends of the U-shaped clamp, and a pickup plugged in the shock-absorbing sleeve and electrically connected to the signal terminal for picking up sound. The above structure mainly adopts the positioning clamp to be provided with a soft shock-absorbing pad for clamping against the musical instrument, and the structural design that the pickup can be suspended and installed between the free ends of the soft U-shaped clamp through the shock-absorbing sleeve. This design can make the new musical instrument pickup device have an excellent shock-absorbing effect, which can effectively prevent friction and impact noise from being transmitted to the pickup, thereby significantly improving the pickup quality. While the aforementioned structure can provide a vibration-proofing effect for instrument pickup, the sound of a saxophone does not originate solely from the bell. Simply installing the pickup at the bell prevents the complete pickup of the mid-bass sounds originating from below the bell, a major drawback that remains unresolved. Therefore, the main problem to be solved by the present invention is how to completely collect the sound emitted by the musical instrument so as to achieve a musical instrument pickup structure with the main creative purpose of recording perfect sound quality. Secondly, the present invention has only one purpose, which is to provide a musical instrument pickup structure that is easy to assemble and can share parts to reduce manufacturing costs. The present invention is a musical instrument pickup structure, which is mainly composed of a clamp and a sound pickup.
