Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] This invention relates to the technical field of sound-to-electric conversion, and more particularly to a multifunctional sound-generating device and electronic device. [Previous Technology]

[0031] The technical solution of the present invention will be further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
[0032] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, this embodiment provides a multifunctional sound-generating device that can simultaneously function as a speaker / receiver and a linear vibration motor. Its overall size is smaller than that of a speaker / receiver and a linear vibration motor that are set separately, and it can be applied in electronic devices with high size requirements.
[0033] Before introducing this embodiment, the directions involved in this embodiment are explained. This embodiment defines a first direction X, a second direction Y, and a third direction Z, wherein any two of the first direction X, the second direction Y, and the third direction Z are perpendicular to each other. For example, taking a multifunctional sound-generating device as a cuboid, the first direction X can be the height direction of the multifunctional sound-generating device, and one of the second direction Y and the third direction Z is the length direction of the multifunctional sound-generating device, while the other is the width direction of the multifunctional sound-generating device. The length and width of the multifunctional sound-generating device can be the same or different; this embodiment does not limit this. The length and width of the multifunctional sound-generating device are greater than its height.
[0034] As shown in FIG1, the multifunctional sound-generating device includes a housing 100. As shown in FIG8, the housing 100 has a receiving space 110. Exemplarily, as shown in FIG2, the housing 100 may include a connected bottom shell 140 and a top cover 130, which cooperate to form the receiving space 110. As shown in FIG8, the housing 100 may also be provided with a sound outlet 120, which communicates with the receiving space 110 for transmitting sound from the multifunctional sound-generating device. For example, the sound outlet 120 may be provided on the top cover 130.
[0035] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the multifunctional sound-generating device also includes a sound-generating unit 200, a carrier 400, and a motor assembly 500, all housed in the housing space 110. The sound-generating unit 200, housed in the housing space 110, includes a vibration assembly 210 fixed to the housing 100 and a magnetic circuit assembly 220 with a magnetic gap 224. A through hole 321 is provided at the center of the magnetic circuit assembly 220. Driven by the magnetic circuit assembly 220, the vibration assembly 210 vibrates along the first direction X to generate sound, thereby enabling the multifunctional sound-generating device to produce sound.
[0036] The carrier 400 is housed in the housing space 110, and the carrier 400 is movably connected to the housing 100 via the elastic arm 2213, so that the carrier 400 can move and reset in the housing space 110.
[0037] In this embodiment, the motor assembly 500 is housed in the housing space 110 and includes a coil unit 510 and a motor magnet 520 housed within the through hole 321. The coil unit 510 is connected to the carrier member 400, and the motor magnet 520 is connected to the magnetic circuit assembly 220. It should be noted that the coil unit 510 can drive the carrier member 400 to vibrate along the second direction Y, thereby enabling the multifunctional sound-generating device to have a linear vibration function.
[0038] For example, the coil unit 510 may include a motor winding coil and an iron core with an I-shaped cross-section, with the motor winding coil wound on the iron core. After the motor winding coil is energized, it reciprocates in a direction perpendicular to the first direction X (e.g., the second direction Y) under the action of the magnetic field of the motor magnet 520, thereby driving the carrier 400 to reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to the first direction X, achieving linear vibration.
[0039] The multifunctional sound-generating device provided in this embodiment includes a sound-generating unit 200, a carrier 400, and a motor assembly 500, all housed in the housing space 110 of the housing 100. The sound-generating unit 200 includes a vibration assembly 210 and a magnetic circuit assembly 220. The magnetic circuit assembly 220 can drive the vibration assembly 210 to vibrate and generate sound in the first direction X, thus realizing the sound generation of the multifunctional sound-generating device. The motor assembly 500 includes a coil unit 510 housed in a through hole 321 and a motor magnet 520. The coil unit 510 is connected to the carrier 400 and can drive the carrier 400 to vibrate in the second direction Y, thus realizing the linear vibration of the multifunctional sound-generating device. This allows the multifunctional sound-generating device to integrate the functions of a speaker / receiver and a linear vibration motor, and it has a small volume, requiring less space in electronic devices, and can be applied in electronic devices with high size requirements.
[0040] Optionally, as shown in FIG3, the magnetic circuit assembly 220 in this embodiment includes a magnetic yoke 300, a main magnet 222, and a side magnet 223. The magnetic yoke 300 is connected to the inner wall of the housing 100. Both the side magnet 223 and the main magnet 222 are connected to one side of the magnetic yoke 300. The side magnet 223 and the main magnet 222 are spaced apart to form a magnetic gap 224. In this embodiment, the magnetic yoke 300 is connected to the inner wall of the housing 100 for support through the housing 100. The main magnet 222 and the side magnet 223 are both connected to one side of the magnetic yoke 300, allowing the main magnet 222 and the side magnet 223 to be indirectly supported on the housing 100 through the magnetic yoke 300.
[0041] Optionally, the material of the bearing 400 is a rigid material, such as metal or plastic. Preferably, the material of the bearing 400 is steel.
[0042] In this embodiment, the motor magnet 520 of the motor assembly 500 and the main magnet 222 and the side magnet 223 of the magnetic circuit assembly 220 are all connected to the yoke 300 so that they can be supported through the yoke 300. The yoke 300 is connected to the housing 100, so that the motor magnet 520, the main magnet 222, the side magnet 223, the yoke 300 and the housing 100 can be connected into a whole, which improves the overall structural strength, has high reliability, and reduces the probability of the motor magnet 520, the main magnet 222 and the side magnet 223 detaching.
[0043] In addition, when the coil unit 510 drives the carrier 400 to vibrate, the motor magnet 520, the main magnet 222, the side magnet 223 and the yoke 300 will not move, thereby ensuring the stability of the sound generation and reducing the impact of the motor assembly 500 on the multifunctional sound generation device, thereby improving the structural stability of the entire multifunctional sound generation device and ensuring the stability of the operation of the multifunctional sound generation device.
[0044] For example, referring to Figures 2 and 9, the magnetic yoke 300 is disposed on one side of the vibration assembly 210 in the first direction X, the bearing member 400 is disposed on the side of the magnetic yoke 300 facing away from the vibration assembly 210, and the main magnet 222 and the side magnet 223 are both disposed on the side of the magnetic yoke 300 facing the vibration assembly 210.
[0045] In some optional embodiments, as shown in FIG5, the magnetic yoke 300 is provided with a connecting portion 310 extending along the first direction X. Specifically, the connecting portion 310 is provided on the side of the magnetic yoke 300 facing the vibration assembly 210. The motor magnet 520 is connected to the connecting portion 310, that is, the motor magnet 520 is located on the side of the magnetic yoke 300 facing the vibration assembly 210. By providing the connecting portion 310, the motor magnet 520 is fixed, and the space inside the housing 100 can also be adjusted, improving space utilization. For example, the large area of the motor magnet 520 connected to the connecting portion 310 increases the connection strength between the two, reduces the risk of the motor magnet 520 falling off when the multifunctional sound-generating device vibrates violently, and has high reliability. Optionally, the motor magnet 520 can be glued to the connecting portion 310, or it can be connected to the connecting portion 310 through other connection methods.
[0046] For example, the magnetic yoke 300 may be plate-shaped and extend along the plane containing the second direction Y and the third direction Z.
[0047] Further optionally, referring to FIG5, the magnetic yoke 300 includes a support portion 330 and the aforementioned through hole 321 opened at the center of the support portion 330, and a stepped structure 320 formed by sinking downward along the edge of the support portion 330 near the through hole 321, that is, a portion of the surface of the support portion 330 sinks to form the stepped structure 320. The side magnet 223 is connected to the support portion 330, and the main magnet 222 is connected to the stepped structure 320. By connecting the main magnet 222 to the sinking stepped structure 320, the size of the main magnet 222 in the first direction X can be larger without increasing the size of the multifunctional sound-generating device in the first direction X, so that the components inside the multifunctional sound-generating device can be more compact. In some optional embodiments, the through hole 321 is used for the coil unit 510 to pass through and connect to the support member 400.
[0048] For example, please refer to FIG5 again. The connecting part 310 is provided on the stepped structure 320, and the motor magnet 520 is connected to the side of the connecting part 310 facing away from the support part 330. That is, the motor magnet 520 is provided on the side of the connecting part 310 facing the through hole 321. By providing the connecting part 310 on the stepped structure 320, the space formed by the main magnet 222 and the side magnet 223 can be fully utilized, further improving the compactness of the multifunctional sound-generating device in the first direction X, which is conducive to the miniaturization of the multifunctional sound-generating device. In addition, the motor magnet 520 can be as close as possible to the support member 400, so that the distance between the coil unit 510 and the support member 400 can be smaller, which facilitates the connection between the two.
[0049] Optionally, the edge of the support portion 330 facing away from the through hole 321 is provided with a flange 331 extending along the first direction X. The flange 331 is connected to the inner wall of the housing 100, so that the flange 331 and the inner wall of the housing 100 have a large contact area, thereby having a high connection strength. For example, multiple flanges 331 can be provided, and the multiple flanges 331 are spaced apart. By providing spaced flanges 331, compared with a circumferential structure, the weight of the magnetic yoke 300 can be reduced, thereby reducing the overall weight of the multifunctional sound-generating device.
[0050] For example, the magnetic yoke 300 may also be provided with hollow holes or openings on the edges to reduce its weight, thereby making the multifunctional sound-generating device lighter and improving the lightweight of the multifunctional sound-generating device.
[0051] In some optional embodiments, the magnetic yoke 300 is a one-piece structure, that is, the supporting part 330, the stepped structure 320, the connecting part 310 and the flange 331 can all be manufactured from a single plate to achieve high structural strength. Of course, it is understood that the magnetic yoke 300 can also be a split structure, and this embodiment does not limit this.
[0052] Optionally, in this embodiment, two sets of main magnets 222 are provided, as shown in FIG3, and the two sets of main magnets 222 are arranged opposite to each other in the second direction Y. Two sets of motor magnets 520 are provided, and the two sets of motor magnets 520 are located between the two main magnets 222 and are arranged opposite to each other in the third direction Z. The coil unit 510 can drive the carrier 400 to vibrate in the second direction Y. Two connecting parts 310 are provided, and the two motor magnets 520 are arranged one-to-one on the opposite surfaces of the two connecting parts 310 to fix the two motor magnets 520.
[0053] By placing two motor magnets 520 between two main magnets 222, the maximum distance between the two sets of motor magnets 520 in the third direction Z will not be greater than the size of the two sets of main magnets 222 in the third direction Z. Therefore, the two sets of main magnets 222 and the two sets of motor magnets 520 can make full use of the space in the third direction Z, which further facilitates the miniaturization of the multifunctional sound-generating device.
[0054] In some optional embodiments, the two connecting parts 310 are also located between the two main magnets 222. For example, the two ends of the main magnets 222 in the third direction Z are flush with the surfaces opposite to the two connecting parts 310. On the one hand, the length of the main magnets 222 can be smaller. On the other hand, the overall size of the main magnets 222, the connecting parts 310 and the motor magnets 520 can be smaller, so that the size of the stepped structure 320 can be smaller, which further facilitates the miniaturization and weight reduction of the multifunctional sound-generating device.
[0055] Optionally, as shown in FIG9, two sets of main magnets 222 and two sets of motor magnets 520 are arranged to form a first space 230. The coil unit 510 is movably located in the first space 230, so that the coil unit 510 can be arranged opposite to the motor magnet 520. By arranging the coil unit 510 in the first space 230, the magnetic circuit assembly 220 and the motor assembly 500 can achieve a gap fit, making the overall structure of the magnetic circuit assembly 220 and the motor assembly 500 more compact, and enabling the multifunctional sound-generating device to be thinner and lighter in the first direction X. In this embodiment, the first space 230 is connected to the through hole 321.
[0056] In some optional embodiments, as shown in FIG3, multiple side magnets 223 are provided. Side magnets 223 are provided on both sides opposite to the two sets of main magnets 222 and on both sides opposite to the two sets of motor magnets 520, and a magnetic gap 224 is formed between the main magnets 222 and the side magnets 223. Exemplarily, a magnetic gap 224 can also be formed between the motor magnets 520 and the side magnets 223. This arrangement can enhance the magnetic field strength and also enhance the sound effect of the vibration assembly 210.
[0057] In some optional embodiments, as shown in FIG6, the vibration assembly 210 includes a frame 213 connected to the housing 100, a diaphragm 211 connected to the frame 213, and a voice coil 212 inserted into the magnetic gap 224 to drive the diaphragm 211 to vibrate and produce sound. As shown in FIG6 and FIG9, a sound cavity 214 is formed between the diaphragm 211 and the top cover 130, and the sound cavity 214 is connected to the sound outlet 120. The frame 213 is provided with a plurality of bends 2131, and the plurality of bends 2131 are connected one-to-one with a plurality of side magnets 223 to further improve the integrity of the vibration assembly 210 and the side magnets 223 and ensure the vibration and sound production performance of the vibration assembly 210.
[0058] Optionally, the bent portion 2131 extends along the second direction Y or the third direction Z, and a large area of the bent portion 2131 contacts the side magnet 223 to have a larger connection area with the side magnet 223, thereby improving the connection strength. In this embodiment, the bent portion 2131 is recessed relative to the frame 213 and contacts the side magnet 223 to avoid positional interference between the frame 213 and the side magnet 223. In this embodiment, there are four side magnets 223 and four bent portions 2131.
[0059] In some optional embodiments, the surface of the side magnet 223 facing away from the yoke 300 is flush with the surface of the main magnet 222 facing away from the stepped structure 320. While ensuring the formation of the magnetic gap 224, the side magnet 223 and the main magnet 222 do not occupy a large additional dimension in the first direction X, which is beneficial for reducing the size of the multifunctional sound-generating device in the first direction X. Similarly, the surface of the coil unit 510 facing the vibration assembly 210 is flush with the surface of the motor magnet 520 facing the vibration assembly 210, so that the coil unit 510 and the motor magnet 520 do not occupy excessive space in the first direction X while ensuring the vibration function, which is beneficial for reducing the size of the multifunctional sound-generating device in the first direction X.
[0060] In some optional embodiments, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the magnetic circuit assembly 220 further includes a magnetic conductor 240. The magnetic conductor 240 is disposed on the side of the main magnet 222 facing away from the stepped structure 320, that is, the magnetic conductor 240 is disposed on the top surface of the main magnet 222 and is connected to both sets of main magnets 222. The magnetic conductor 240 can be used for magnetic conduction.
[0061] Further optionally, the magnetic conductor 240 has a clearance hole 241, that is, the magnetic conductor 240 is annular. Furthermore, the magnetic conductor 240 is also connected to two connecting portions 310. The motor magnet 520 has a protrusion (not shown in the figure) extending beyond the connecting portion 310, that is, a portion of the motor magnet 520 is connected to the connecting portion 310, and also has a portion not connected to the connecting portion 310. The opposite faces of the protrusions of both sets of motor magnets 520 abut against the wall of the clearance hole 241, so that the magnetic conductor 240 can also be used to limit the movement of the motor magnet 520, further improving the stability of the motor magnet 520. In this embodiment, the clearance hole 241 is used to avoid the magnetic gap 224, so that the voice coil 212 of the vibration assembly 210 can be smoothly inserted into the magnetic gap 224.
[0062] It should be noted that the surface of the magnetic conductor 240 facing away from the main magnet 222 is flush with the top surface of the motor magnet 520. That is, the height of the protrusion is equal to the thickness of the magnetic conductor 240, which makes the appearance of the magnetic circuit assembly 220 neater and avoids unevenness.
[0063] Optionally, as shown in Figure 3, the multifunctional sound-generating device also includes a counterweight 221, which is disposed on the support member 400 so that the counterweight 221 can be moved when the support member 400 moves.
[0064] Further optionally, as shown in FIG. 4 , the counterweight 221 includes a center portion 2211 and a plurality of edge portions 2212 . The center portion 2211 is connected between the coil unit 510 and the carrier 400 , that is, the coil unit 510 is connected to the carrier 400 through the center portion 2211 . It is certainly understandable that the coil unit 510 may also be connected directly to the carrier 400 , or, the coil unit 510 is connected to the carrier 400 via other components, which are not limited in this embodiment.
[0065] When the coil unit 510 is connected to the carrier 400 through the center portion 2211 , the center portion 2211 passes through the step structure 320 and is connected to the coil unit 510 since the coil unit 510 is located on the side of the conjugate 300 back to the carrier 400 . In this embodiment, there is a gap between the conjugate 300 and the carrier 400 so that the conjugate 300 does not interfere with the motion of the carrier 400 .
