Abstract

The present invention provides a testing apparatus comprising: a receiving unit that receives a received signal train, the received signal train including a pseudo-random signal train output by a device under test; and a detection unit that detects whether a pseudo-random signal generator that generates the pseudo-random signal train within the received signal train is in a disabled state. The present invention provides a testing apparatus comprising: a receiving unit that receives a received signal train, the received signal train including a pseudo-random signal train output by a device under test; a desired value generation unit that generates a desired value signal train, the desired value signal train including a pseudo-random signal train identical to the pseudo-random signal train to be output by the device under test; and a detection unit that detects whether a pseudo-random signal generator that generates the pseudo-random signal train included in at least one of the desired value signal train or the received signal train is in a disabled state.
