[0039] In order to explain the technical content, structural features and achieved effects of the present invention in detail, the following is a detailed description in conjunction with the implementation methods and the accompanying drawings.
[0040] Existing safety seats adjust the seat space by pulling the front guard forward a certain distance and then loosening the seat belt. However, this adjustment method can cause the front guard to detach from the seat body, making its positioning unreliable and prone to accidents. Currently, one type of safety seat features a detachable connection mechanism at the rear end of the front guard, allowing it to be secured between the seat and the armrest. However, this connection method prevents the front guard from being adjusted relative to the seat body, resulting in an unadjustable seating space for the safety seat. This makes it difficult to adapt to the body shapes of children of different ages, and older children cannot use this safety seat.
[0041] To this end, the present application provides a safety seat to solve or at least alleviate the above-mentioned problems in the prior art.
[0042] As shown in Figure 1, the safety seat 400 of the present invention includes a seat body 401 and an adjustable front protector 100. Armrests 402 are provided on either side of the seat body 401. A receiving slot 403 is located between the armrests 402 and the seat body 401. A connecting rod is provided at the bottom of the receiving slot 403. The adjustable front protector 100 is inserted into the receiving slot 403. Snap-fit mechanisms 410 are provided on either side of the adjustable front protector 100. The snap-fit mechanisms 410 are detachably connected to the connecting rods, creating a space for the child to sit between the adjustable front protector 100 and the seat body 401.
[0043] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the locking mechanism 410 includes a locking hook 411, a reinforcement member 412, a push button 413, and a return spring 414. The reinforcement member 412 is fixed to a housing 415, which has an opening 4151 that accommodates the connecting rod. The locking hook 411 is pivotally connected to the reinforcement member 412 of the front guard 100 at a pivot point A. The push button 413 is slidably mounted on the reinforcement member 412 and pivotally connected to the locking hook 411 at a pivot point B, thereby pulling the locking hook 411 to swing, thereby closing or opening the opening 4151. The return spring 414 is disposed between the housing 415 and the locking hook 411 and provides a spring force that drives the locking hook 411 to rotate to a position that closes the opening 4151.
[0044] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 6 , the structure of the adjustable front guard 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention is shown.
[0045] Referring to Figures 4 and 5 , the adjustable front protector 100 of this embodiment includes a fixed seat 110, a sliding portion 120, and a locking mechanism 130. The sliding portion 120 is slidably mounted on the fixed seat 110 in an ascending direction from rear to front. The locking mechanism 130 is disposed between the fixed seat 110 and the sliding portion 120 to lock or unlock the sliding portion 120. Specifically, a guide groove 121 is provided on the side of one of the fixed seat 110 and the sliding portion 120, while a guide rail 111 extending in an ascending direction from rear to front is provided on the side of the other. The guide groove 121 slidably engages with the guide rail 111. In this embodiment, the guide rails 111 are provided on both sides of the fixed seat 110, and the guide grooves 121 are provided on both sides of the sliding portion 120. This allows the sliding portion 120 to slide forward and in an ascending direction simultaneously, thereby adjusting the width and height of the safety seat 400's operating area.
[0046] Referring again to Figures 5 and 6 , the locking mechanism 130 includes two latching rods 131, a drive block 132, an operating member 133, and an elastic element (not shown). The latching rods 131 are slidably mounted on the sliding portion 120. The fixed base 110 is provided with at least two engaging holes 112 along an ascending direction from rear to front, and the latching rod 131 is selectively inserted into any of the engaging holes 112. Specifically, the drive block 132 is slidably mounted on the sliding portion 120, and its sliding direction intersects with the sliding direction of the latching rod 131. In this embodiment, the sliding directions of the two directions are perpendicular. The drive block 132 is provided with two symmetrically extending drive slots 1321. A sliding pin 1311 is fixedly mounted on one end of the latching rod 131. The central axis of the sliding pin 1311 is perpendicular to the central axis of the latching rod 131, and the sliding pin 1311 is slidably inserted into the drive slot 1321. The operating member 133 is connected to the drive block 132 and can pull the drive block 132 to move. An elastic element is arranged between the sliding portion 120 and the locking rod 131 and provides an elastic force to insert the locking rod 131 into the locking hole 112. The elastic element can be a compression spring. By using the cooperation between the locking rod 131 and the locking hole 112, the sliding portion 120 can be locked at the desired position. The structure is simple and easy to operate. By using the cooperation between the driving inclined groove 1321 and the sliding pin 1311 on the drive block 132, the forward and backward driving force of the drive block 132 can be transmitted to the leftward and rightward moving locking rod 131, so that the locking rod 131 exits the locking hole 112 and is released. The provision of the operating member 133 makes it easier for the user to operate and improves the convenience of use.
[0047] When the position of the front guard 100 needs to be adjusted, the operating member 133 is manually pulled, causing the operating member 133 to move the driving block 132. The driving block 132 drives the two locking rods 131 out of the engaging holes 112 via the two driving inclined slots 1321 and the sliding pin 1311. At this time, the sliding portion 120 is in the unlocked state and can slide relative to the fixing base 110. After the position of the sliding portion 120 is adjusted, the operating member 133 is released, allowing the locking rod 131 to extend into the corresponding other engaging hole 112, thereby locking the sliding portion 120 again, and the adjustment is complete.
[0048] Compared with the prior art, the present invention provides a sliding portion 120 and a locking mechanism 130, so that the sliding portion 120 can be slidably arranged on the fixed seat 110 in an upward direction from the rear to the front, and the locking mechanism 130 is used to lock the sliding portion 120, so that the sliding portion 120 can move forward and upward relative to the fixed seat 110, and further the position of the front protective body 100 relative to the seat body 401 of the safety seat 400 can be adjusted to adjust the space for the child's legs and abdomen, thereby achieving the purpose of adapting to children of different body shapes. The structure is simple and very convenient to use.
[0049] As shown in FIG. 7 to FIG. 13 , the structure of the adjustable front guard 200 according to the second embodiment of the present invention is shown.
[0050] 8 to 10 , the adjustable front guard 200 of this embodiment includes a fixed base 210, a sliding portion 220, a main body 230, and two locking mechanisms 240. The sliding portion 220 is slidably mounted on the fixed base 210 in a front-to-rear direction, and the main body 230 is slidably mounted on the sliding portion 220 in an up-to-down direction. The locking mechanisms 240 are respectively disposed on either side of the sliding portion 220 to lock or unlock the sliding portion 220 and the main body 230.
[0051] Referring to Figures 10 and 11 , specifically, a first guide groove 221 is provided on the side of one of the fixed seat 210 and the sliding portion 220, while a first guide rail 211 is provided on the side of the other. The first guide groove 221 slidably engages with the first guide rail 211. In this embodiment, the first guide rail 211 is provided on the inner side of the fixed seat 210, and the first guide grooves 221 are provided on both sides of the sliding portion 220. This allows the sliding portion 220 to slide forward, enabling the front-to-back width adjustment of the safety seat 400's usable area. A second guide groove 231 is provided on the side of one of the sliding portion 220 and the main body 230, while the second guide rail 222 is provided on the side of the other. The second guide groove 231 slidably engages with the second guide rail 222. In this embodiment, the second guide rail 222 is provided on the inner side of the sliding portion 220, and the second guide grooves 231 are provided on both sides of the main body 230. This allows the main body 230 to slide upward, enabling the height adjustment of the safety seat 400's usable area.
[0052] Referring to Figures 10, 12, and 13, the locking mechanism 240 includes a first locking lever 241, a second locking lever 242, a drive lever 243, an operating member 244, and a return spring 245. The first and second locking levers 241, 242 are slidably mounted on the sliding portion 220. The fixed base 210 is provided with at least two first engaging holes 212 along the front and rear directions, and the first locking lever 241 selectively engages one of the first engaging holes 212. The main body 230 is provided with at least two second engaging holes 232 along the upper and lower directions, and the second locking lever 242 selectively engages one of the second engaging holes 232. The first and second locking levers 241, 242 respectively engage with the first and second engaging holes 212, 232, to lock the sliding portion 220 and the main body 230 at their desired adjusted positions, resulting in a simple structure and convenient operation. The drive rod 243 is slidably mounted on the sliding portion 220, and its sliding direction intersects the sliding directions of the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242. In this embodiment, the drive rod 243 is perpendicular to the sliding directions of the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242. The drive rod 243 is provided with a first drive bevel 243a and a second drive bevel 243b. A first sliding pin 241a is fixedly mounted on one end of the first locking rod 241, with the central axis of the first sliding pin 241a perpendicular to the central axis of the first locking rod 241 and slidably inserted into the first drive bevel 243a. A second sliding pin 242a is fixedly mounted on one end of the second locking rod 242, with the central axis of the second sliding pin 242a perpendicular to the central axis of the second locking rod 242 and slidably inserted into the second drive bevel 243b. The first drive bevel 243a and the second drive bevel 243b on the drive rod 243 respectively cooperate with the first sliding pin 241a and the second sliding pin 242a, thereby transmitting the forward and backward driving force of the drive rod 243 to the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242, which move leftward and rightward, respectively. This allows the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242 to exit the first engaging hole 212 and the second engaging hole 232, thereby releasing the lock. An operating member 244 is connected to the drive rod 243. The provision of the operating member 244 makes operation easier for the user and improves convenience. A return spring 245 is disposed between the sliding portion 220 and the drive rod 243 and provides an elastic force that drives the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242 into their respective engaging holes via the drive rod 243. The return spring 245 is a compression spring.
[0053] Referring to Figure 10 , a drive mechanism 250 is provided between the main body 230 and the fixed base 210 to drive the main body 230 up and down. Specifically, the drive mechanism 250 includes a drive pin 251 and a guide slot 252. The guide slot 252 is provided on the side of the fixed base 210 and extends in an ascending direction from rear to front. One end of the drive pin 251 is fixed to the main body 230, and the other end is slidably inserted into the guide slot 252 through an elongated hole in the sliding portion 220. The cooperation between the drive pin 251 and the guide slot 252 allows the main body 230 to rise or fall along the extending direction of the guide slot 252 while sliding back and forth with the sliding portion 220, thereby achieving height adjustment of the main body 230. The simple structure and the synchronized movement of the sliding portion 220 and the main body 230 make operation more convenient.
[0054] To adjust the position of the front guard 200, simply manually pull the two operating members 244, causing them to move their corresponding drive blocks. The drive blocks, via the first drive bevel 243a, the second drive bevel 243b, the first sliding pin 241a, and the second sliding pin 242a, drive the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242 out of the first engaging hole 212 and the second engaging hole 232, respectively. At this point, the sliding portion 220 and the main body 230 are in a released state, allowing the sliding portion 220 to slide forward and backward relative to the fixed base 210, while the main body 230 can simultaneously slide up and down relative to the sliding portion 220. The position of the sliding portion 220 can then be adjusted, and the main body 230 will also be adjusted synchronously with the guide bevel 252. Finally, after the adjustment is complete, the operating member 244 is released, allowing the first locking rod 241 and the second locking rod 242 to extend into the corresponding engaging hole, thereby locking the sliding portion 220 again, and the adjustment is complete.
[0055] Compared with the prior art, the present invention provides a sliding portion 220, a main body 230 and a locking mechanism 240, so that the sliding portion 220 can be slidably arranged on the fixed seat 210 from back to front, and the main body 230 can be slidably arranged on the sliding portion 220 in the up-down direction, and the locking mechanism 240 is used to simultaneously lock the sliding portion 220 and the main body 230, so that the sliding portion 220 can move forward relative to the fixed seat 210, and the main body 230 can move upward relative to the sliding portion 220, thereby enabling the front guard 200 to be adjusted relative to the front-to-back width and height of the seat body 401 of the safety seat 400, thereby adjusting the space for the child's legs and abdomen to achieve the purpose of adapting to children of different body shapes. The structure is simple and very convenient to use.
[0056] As shown in FIG. 14 to FIG. 16 , the structure of the adjustable front guard 300 according to the third embodiment of the present invention is shown.
[0057] The structure of the front guard 300 of this embodiment is essentially the same as that of the second embodiment. The difference is that the two operating members of the front guard of the second embodiment are separately arranged, requiring both hands to operate both members simultaneously to release the locking mechanisms on both sides of the sliding portion and the main body. In contrast, the operating members 302 of the two locking mechanisms 301 of the front guard 300 of this embodiment are connected together to form a single structure. During operation, only one hand is required to operate this integrated operating member 302 to release the locking mechanisms 301 on both sides of the sliding portion 303 and the main body 304 simultaneously, further improving operational convenience. The other components of this embodiment perform the same functions as those of the corresponding components in the second embodiment and will not be repeated here.
[0058] As shown in FIG. 17 to FIG. 21 , the structure of the adjustable front guard 500 according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention is shown.
[0059] Referring to Figures 17 to 19 , the adjustable front guard 500 of this embodiment has a similar structure to that of the first embodiment, comprising a fixed base 510, a sliding portion 520, and a locking mechanism 530. The sliding portion 520 is slidably mounted on the fixed base 510 in an ascending direction from rear to front. The locking mechanism 530 is disposed between the fixed base 510 and the sliding portion 520 to lock or unlock the sliding portion 520. A guide groove 521 is provided on the side of the sliding portion 520, which serves as a sliding tube. A guide rail 511 is provided on the side of the fixed base 510, extending in an ascending direction from rear to front, which serves as a fixed tube that is slidably sleeved onto the sliding tube.
[0060] Referring to Figures 20 and 21 , the locking mechanism 530 includes two latching rods 531, a drive block 532, an operating member 533, and an elastic element (not shown). The latching rods 531 are slidably mounted on the sliding portion 520. The fixing base 510 is provided with at least two engaging holes 512 along the upward direction from the rear to the front. The engaging holes 512 are located on the fixing tube. The latching rod 531 selectively engages with any of the engaging holes 512. Specifically, the drive block 532 is slidably mounted on the sliding portion 520, with its sliding direction perpendicular to that of the latching rod 531. The drive block 532 is provided with two symmetrically extending drive slots 5321. A sliding pin 5311 is fixedly mounted on one end of the latching rod 531. The central axis of the sliding pin 5311 is perpendicular to that of the latching rod 531, and the sliding pin 5311 is slidably engaged with the drive slot 5321. The operating member 533 is connected to the driving block 532 and can pull the driving block 532 to move. The elastic element is disposed between the sliding portion 520 and the latching rod 531 and provides an elastic force to insert the latching rod 531 into the latching hole 512. The elastic element can be a compression spring.
[0061] When the position of the front guard 500 needs to be adjusted, the operating member 533 is manually pulled, causing the operating member 533 to move the driving block 532. The driving block 532 drives the two locking rods 531 out of the engaging holes 512 via the two driving inclined slots 5321 and the sliding pin 5311. At this time, the sliding portion 520 is in the unlocked state and can slide relative to the fixing base 510. After the position of the sliding portion 520 is adjusted, the operating member 533 is released, allowing the locking rod 531 to extend into the corresponding other engaging hole 512, thereby locking the sliding portion 520 again, and the adjustment is complete.
[0062] As shown in FIG. 22 to FIG. 24 , the structure of the adjustable front guard 600 according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention is shown.
[0063] The structure of the adjustable front guard 600 of this embodiment is similar to that of the fourth embodiment, differing in the locking mechanism 630. The locking mechanism 630 of this embodiment includes a latching rod 631, an operating member 632, and an elastic element 633. The latching rod 631 is slidably disposed within the sliding portion 620 and can extend beyond the sliding portion 620. The fixing base 610 is provided with at least two engaging holes 612 along the ascending direction from rear to front, and the latching rod 631 can be selectively inserted into any of the engaging holes 612. The operating member 632 is connected to the latching rod 631 and slidably disposed within the sliding portion 620. Specifically, the sliding portion 620 is provided with a guide rod 634 that is balanced with the latching rod 631, and the operating member 632 is slidably sleeved onto the guide rod 634. This prevents accidental displacement of the operating member 632 and improves structural stability. The end of the operating member 632 is exposed at the front of the sliding portion 620 for ease of operation. Elastic elements 633 are positioned between the two latching rods 631 on the left and right sides to provide a spring force that forces the latching rods 631 into the engaging holes 612. The elastic elements 633 automatically insert the latching rods 631 into the engaging holes 612, thereby automatically locking the sliding portion 620 with the fixing base 610, improving ease of use. To operate this embodiment, simply push the operating member 632, causing it to pull the latching rod 631 out of the fixing portion 610 to unlock the sliding portion 620, allowing for quick adjustment of the position of the sliding portion 620.
