Abstract
Claims
1. A mobile device supporting broadband operation, comprising: A grounding element; A first radiating section has a feed point; A second radiating portion, wherein the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion extend in substantially opposite directions; a third radiating portion, wherein both the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion are coupled to the grounding element via the third radiating portion; a fourth radiating portion, coupled to the grounding element, wherein the fourth radiating portion is adjacent to the first radiating portion; A fifth radiating portion coupled to the feed point, wherein the fifth radiating portion extends across the fourth radiating portion; a stamped metal portion coupled to the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion; and a dielectric substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, wherein the first radiating portion, the second radiating portion, the third radiating portion, and the fourth radiating portion are all disposed on the first surface, and the fifth radiating portion is disposed on the second surface; wherein the first radiating portion, the second radiating portion, the third radiating portion, the fourth radiating portion, the fifth radiating portion, and the stamped metal portion together form an antenna structure.
2. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first radiating portion includes a first rectangular widening portion, and the feed point is located at one corner of the first rectangular widening portion.
3. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the third radiating portion includes a second rectangular widening portion.
4. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a coupling gap is formed between the first radiating part and the fourth radiating part, and the width of the coupling gap is between 0.5 mm and 1 mm.
5. The mobile device as described in claim 1, further comprising: A conductive through-element penetrates the dielectric substrate, wherein the fifth radiating portion is coupled to the feed point via the conductive through-element; The fifth radiating portion has a vertical projection on the first surface of the dielectric substrate, and the vertical projection at least partially overlaps with the fourth radiating portion.
6. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stamped metal portion is substantially perpendicular to the first surface of the dielectric substrate.
7. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the antenna structure covers a first frequency band, a second frequency band, and a third frequency band, the first frequency band being between 2400MHz and 2500MHz, the second frequency band being between 5150MHz and 5850MHz, and the third frequency band being between 5925MHz and 7125MHz.
8. The mobile device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the total length of the first radiating part and the second radiating part is approximately equal to one wavelength of the third frequency band.
9. The mobile device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the total length of the first radiating part and the third radiating part is approximately equal to 0.25 times the wavelength of the second frequency band.
10. The mobile device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the total length of the second radiating part and the third radiating part is approximately equal to 0.25 times the wavelength of the first frequency band.
