Crossbow foot pedal angle adjustment device

Abstract

This invention discloses a crossbow foot pedal angle adjustment device, comprising a connecting seat, a stirrup, a wrench, a pivot assembly, and a locking mechanism. The connecting seat connects to a crossbow assembly and has a plurality of positioning grooves at different angles. The stirrup has a foot pedal portion and a movable groove at each end. The wrench has a handle portion and a plurality of actuating portions at each end. The pivot assembly pivotally connects the connecting seat, the stirrup, and the wrench. The locking mechanism is movably accommodated in the movable groove and is selectively inserted into or disengaged from the preset positioning groove by being pressed by the actuating portions. Through the composition of the above components, the locking mechanism is controlled by moving the wrench to selectively constrain the stirrup or adjust its positioning relative to the connecting seat to a preset angle.

Claims

1. A crossbow foot pedal angle adjustment device, comprising: A connector has a connecting portion, a pivot portion extending outward from the connecting portion, a plurality of positioning grooves disposed along the outer periphery of the pivot portion, and a first shaft hole formed through the pivot portion; a stirrup has a foot pedal portion and a movable groove formed on the outer end face of the stirrup and a plurality of pivot arms at both ends, and a plurality of second shaft holes formed concentrically through each pivot arm; a wrench has a handle portion and a plurality of actuating portions at both ends, wherein each actuating portion is disposed between the pivot portion and each pivot arm, and each actuating portion further includes: a first step and a second step, respectively recessed in a predetermined end face of each actuating portion, having a high and low position difference; and a plurality of third shaft holes formed concentrically through each actuating portion; A pivot assembly includes a pivot and a plurality of fasteners disposed at both ends of the pivot, wherein the pivot extends through the first shaft hole, the second shaft hole, and the third shaft hole, and pivotally connects the connecting seat, the stirrup, and the wrench; a locking mechanism is movably disposed in the movable groove, including: a floating member having: a guide portion formed on the lower end face of the floating member and inserted into the movable groove; a locking portion protruding from the top face of the floating member and selectively inserted into one of the positioning grooves; a plurality of protrusions protruding from the top face of the floating member and abutting against each of the actuating portions, selectively located at the first step or the second step; and a plurality of elastic members respectively housed in the movable groove and abutting against both sides of the guide portion, normally pushing the floating member toward the connecting seat.

The crossbow foot pedal angle adjustment device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the wrench has a plurality of linings extending outward from one end of the handle portion, symmetrically arranged and abutting against the far-away end faces of each of the pivot arms, and each lining further having a plurality of fourth shaft holes through it to provide the pivot for passage.

3. The crossbow foot pedal angle adjustment device as described in claim 1, wherein an arc groove is recessed at both ends of the guide portion, and the groove walls at both ends of the extending direction of the movable groove have an arc-shaped profile.
