Abstract

A positive pressure ventilator (CPAP) assistive wearing system is disclosed to address the discomfort and inability to wear conventional CAP systems for extended periods. The system includes: an image input module that captures an image of a user's facial features and an image of the user wearing a CAP system; a processing unit that identifies the facial feature image and the image of the wearing features, compares the image of the wearing features with correct wearing information, and determines whether the user is correctly wearing the CAP system; and an audio / video output module that displays the facial feature image and the image of the wearing features, and combines the comparison and judgment results from the processing unit. This system can improve CAP system compliance and reduce the burden on medical personnel.

Claims

1. A positive pressure respirator (NPPR) assisted wearing system, comprising: a NPPR having a nasal mask and a strap, wherein a user wears the nasal mask and is secured by the strap; an image input module for capturing a facial feature image of the user and a wearing feature image of the user wearing the NPPR; a processing unit coupled to the image input module, wherein the processing unit identifies the facial feature image and the wearing feature image, compares the wearing feature image with correct wearing information stored in a database, and determines whether the user is correctly wearing the NPPR; and an audio-visual output module coupled to the image input module and the processing unit, wherein the audio-visual output module displays the facial feature image and the wearing feature image, and combines the comparison and determination results of the processing unit.

2. As in request item 1, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The facial imagery includes frontal, left-turned, and right-turned images of the user's face.

3. As in request item 1, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The wearing feature image includes frontal, left-turning, and right-turning images of the user's face while wearing the positive pressure respirator.

4. As in request item 1, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The processing unit confirms that the image received by the image input module is captured at a specified distance, which is 40±5 cm.

5. As in request item 1, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The processing unit calculates the user's nasal width from the frontal image of the facial feature image, calculates the nasal bridge height from the head-turning image of the facial feature image, and calculates the length and relative position of the strap from the wearing feature image.

6. As in request item 1, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The database stores product information for the positive pressure respirator, including the size and specifications of the nasal mask, and its brand and model.

7. As in request item 1, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The correct wearing information includes images of the user wearing the nose mask of the appropriate size, and the straps being confirmed by medical personnel to be in the correct position.

8. As in request item 7, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, The wearing feature image is compared with the correct wearing information to check whether the size of the nose mask is the same and to measure the positional offset of one of the straps.

9. As in request item 8, a positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system, wherein, If the positional offset is less than or equal to a tolerance value, the processing unit determines that it is correctly worn; if the offset is greater than the tolerance value, it is determined to be incorrectly worn. The tolerance value is 5 mm to 7 mm.

10. The positive pressure respirator-assisted wearing system as requested in item 1, wherein, The audio-visual output module uses prompt text, flashing patterns, and warning sounds to remind the user to adjust the distance from the camera and the angle of head rotation, and presents the judgment results of the processing unit in combination with virtual markers, text, and voice with real images.
