Abstract
Claims
1. A driving device for a display panel, comprising: a substrate; a power supply module disposed on the substrate and configured to provide a power supply voltage and a power enable signal, wherein the power enable signal is configured to enable at least one power signal supplied to the display panel; A connector coupled to the power supply module and having a plurality of plug terminals, wherein the plug terminals are configured to transmit the power supply voltage, the power enable signal and the at least one power signal; The flexible circuit board is coupled between the connector and the display panel and includes: a plurality of lines; and a plurality of connection terminals coupled to the lines and configured to plug into the connection terminals, wherein two of the connection terminals are configured to receive the supply voltage and the power enable signal from two of the connection terminals respectively, and the lines coupled to the two of the connection terminals are interconnected in the flexible circuit board.
2. The drive device as described in claim 1, wherein: When the connecting terminals are correctly coupled to the corresponding plug terminals, the two of the connecting terminals and the two of the plug terminals are in a conductive state, so that the power enable signal receives the supply voltage and enables the at least one power signal; and when the connecting terminals are not correctly coupled to the corresponding plug terminals, the two of the connecting terminals and the two of the plug terminals are in an open circuit state, so that the power enable signal cannot enable the at least one power signal.
3. The drive device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the two of the connection terminals are separated by one connection terminal among the connection terminals.
4. The drive device as described in claim 3, wherein the connection terminal disposed between the two of the connection terminals is a dummy terminal.
5. The drive device as described in claim 3, wherein the distance between the two of the connecting terminals is greater than or equal to 1 mm.
6. A method for detecting the insertion error of a connection terminal, applicable to a display panel and comprising: providing a power supply voltage and a power enable signal, wherein the power enable signal is configured to enable at least one power signal supplied to the display panel; transmitting the power supply voltage, the power enable signal and the at least one power signal to a flexible circuit board coupled to the display panel through a plurality of connection terminals, wherein the flexible circuit board includes a plurality of lines and a plurality of connection terminals; configuring two of the connection terminals to respectively receive the power supply voltage and the power enable signal from two of the connection terminals, wherein the lines coupled to the two of the connection terminals are interconnected in the flexible circuit board; and determining the insertion state between the flexible circuit board and the connection terminals based on the electrical state of the two of the connection terminals.
7. The method for detecting the insertion error of the connection terminals as described in claim 6, wherein: When the connection terminals and the plug terminals are correctly coupled, both of the plug terminals are in a conducting state, enabling the power enable signal to enable the at least one power signal according to the supply voltage; and when the connection terminals and the plug terminals are not correctly coupled, both of the plug terminals are in a disconnected state, preventing the power enable signal from enabling the at least one power signal according to the supply voltage.
8. The insertion error detection method for the connection terminals as described in claim 6, wherein the two of the connection terminals are separated by one connection terminal among the connection terminals.
9. The insertion error detection method for the connection terminals as described in claim 8, wherein the connection terminal disposed between the two of the connection terminals is a dummy terminal.
10. The insertion error detection method for the connection terminals as described in claim 8, wherein the distance between the two connection terminals is greater than or equal to 1 mm.
