Abstract

A server device, server assembly, and housing assembly are disclosed. The housing assembly includes a tray and a traversing device. The tray has an opening and two side plates defining an accommodating space. The opening is located on one of the side plates and connects to the accommodating space. The traversing device includes a screw portion, a sliding module, and a traversing member. The screw portion is located within the accommodating space and is rotatably connected to the tray. The sliding module includes a carrier, a screw hole portion, and a redirecting portion. The carrier is slidably located within the accommodating space, and the redirecting portion and the screw hole portion are respectively located on the carrier. The screw hole portion is helically attached to the screw portion. The traversing member is retractably located within the opening and abuts against the redirecting portion. When the screw portion rotates and the sliding module moves linearly along the long axis of the screw portion, the redirecting portion pushes the traversing member in and out of the opening along different long axis directions.

A server device, comprising: A chassis, which is divided into a housing area and at least one hub area, the housing area including at least one placement slot; At least one hub module includes a patch panel and at least one electrical interface, the patch panel being located within the at least one hub area, and the at least one electrical interface being disposed on the patch panel; And a server device, including: a host module, including a host body and at least one electrical connector, the host body being electrically connected to the at least one electrical connector; and a housing assembly, removably located within the at least one placement slot, the housing assembly including a tray and at least one traversing device, the tray having a receiving space, at least one opening, a first side plate and a second side plate, the receiving space being defined between the first side plate and the second side plate, the main body being located within the receiving space, the at least one opening being located on the first side plate and connected to the receiving space, the traversing device including a rotating module, a sliding module and at least one traversing member, the rotating module... The assembly includes a screw portion located within the accommodating space and rotatably connected to the tray. The at least one electrical connector is fixedly located on the transverse member. The sliding module includes a carrier, a screw hole portion, and at least one redirecting portion. The carrier is slidably located within the accommodating space. The at least one redirecting portion and the screw hole portion are respectively located on the carrier, and the screw hole portion is helically attached to the screw portion. The at least one transverse member is telescopically located within the at least one opening and abuts against the at least one redirecting portion. When the screw portion rotates and the sliding module moves linearly along the long axis of the screw portion, the at least one redirecting portion pushes the transverse member in and out of the at least one opening in a transverse direction different from the long axis direction, so that the at least one electrical connector moves to and is plugged into the at least one electrical interface.

2. The server device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one opening comprises a plurality of openings arranged sequentially along the long axis on the first side plate; the at least one redirecting portion further comprises a plurality of redirecting portions arranged sequentially along the long axis on the carrier; and the traversing member comprises a plurality of traversing members located within the openings and abutting against the redirecting portions.

3. The server device as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the redirecting parts includes an inclined groove; and each of the traversing members includes a carrier and a protrusion, the carrier being telescopically located in one of the openings, the protrusion being located on the carrier and slidably located in one of the inclined grooves, wherein the carrier can be pushed into and out of the openings by pushing the protrusions respectively through the inclined grooves.

4. The server device as claimed in claim 3, wherein each of the inclined grooves is Z-shaped and includes a first segment, a second segment and an inclined segment, the first segment being parallel to the second segment, closer to the screw hole and farther away from the openings than the second segment, and the inclined segment being connected to the first segment and the second segment respectively.

5. The server device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the lengths of the first segments of the inclined grooves increase sequentially from the front side to the rear side of the tray, and the lengths of the second segments of the inclined grooves decrease sequentially from the tray in the same direction, wherein the groove lengths of the inclined grooves are consistent with each other.

6. The server device as described in claim 3, wherein the protrusion is one of a driven wheel and a protrusion.

7. The server device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sliding module further includes at least one guide located within the carrier and extending linearly along the lateral direction, wherein the lateral member is slidably engaged with the guide.

8. The server device as described in claim 7, wherein the guide is one of a linear guide rod and a linear guide groove.

9. The server device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end face of the screw portion further has a rotary interface exposed from the front side of the tray.

10. The server device as claimed in claim 9 further includes: an electric drill bit removably connected to the rotary interface for rapidly rotating the rotary module.

11. The server device as described in claim 1, wherein the rotating module further comprises: A housing having a through channel penetrating two opposing surfaces of the housing, wherein a section of a screw portion has an annular flange connected to the screw portion and located within the through channel; two bearing elements, parallel to each other, located within the through channel and both penetrated by the screw portion, wherein the annular flange is clamped between the two bearing elements; two end caps, respectively covering the two opposing surfaces and the through channel; and a plurality of rotating wheels, each pivotally mounted on the two end caps and partially overlapping the through channel, wherein each of the two bearing elements is directly clamped by the annular flange and one of the two end caps, and the section of the screw portion is located within the through opening of the two end caps and between the rotating wheels.
