Abstract

A method for screening rare-earth magnets using magnetic images includes the following steps: a processing device trains an artificial intelligence model architecture using a training algorithm and several pre-processed images to generate a pre-trained artificial intelligence model; a magnetic imaging module develops an image of the magnet to be tested to obtain a magnetic image; a camera captures the magnetic image to obtain a magnetic image to be tested; the processing device receives the magnetic image to be tested and uses the artificial intelligence model to predict the magnetic image to generate several prediction probability values; the processing device generates a corresponding prediction result based on these prediction probability values. This invention can quickly and accurately screen the magnet to be tested, improving the efficiency of dismantling rare-earth magnets in recycled waste parts and reducing the unnecessary cost burden caused by the inability to identify the type of magnet inside the waste parts before the dismantling operation is completed, thus preventing the dismantling of non-rare-earth magnets.
