Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] This invention relates to a support plate structure, and more particularly to a support plate structure for supporting electronic devices or hanging on a user's hand. [Previous Technology]
[0002] With the rapid development of electronic technology, various electronic devices are constantly being introduced. These include mobile phones, PDAs, e-readers, laptops, MP3 players, MP4 players, tablets, and digital cameras. Holding electronic devices in one's hand for extended periods can easily cause neck and hand fatigue; placing them flat on a table requires tilting them forward to read, which can also cause back and neck discomfort. Furthermore, light sources such as lamps projected onto the screen of electronic devices can cause reflections that interfere with reading and operation. Therefore, placing electronic devices at an angle facilitates reading and operation.
[0003] However, existing products used to support electronic devices are generally protective cases, which are mainly used to protect and cover the screen and casing of electronic devices. Therefore, electronic devices cannot be effectively positioned when placed at an angle, and they are prone to sliding due to their own weight or improper contact, or they take up too much space, causing inconvenience and trouble in terms of storage and carrying.
[0004] In view of this, the creator has devoted himself to researching and applying theoretical principles to address the shortcomings of the existing technology, and has made every effort to solve the above-mentioned problems, which has become the creator's goal of improvement.
New content
[0005] The main purpose of this creation is to support electronic devices or to support a support plate structure that is held in the user's hand.
[0006] To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a support plate structure, including a base plate, a folding plate and an elastic strap. The base plate has a back side, a top edge and a bottom edge, and the back side is located between the top edge and the bottom edge. The folding plate includes a backing part, a support part and a connecting part. The backing part is pivotally connected to the bottom edge, and the support part is pivotally connected between the backing part and the connecting part. The support part has a strip hole, and the connecting part has a through hole. One end of the elastic strap is fixed to the base plate, and the other end passes through the through hole and is fixed to the base plate. The elastic strap is partially exposed in the strip hole. When folded, the folding plate is flat against the back side. When unfolded, the connecting part is folded in the opposite direction and flat against the back side, so as to form a three-dimensional structure in the backing part, the support part and the base plate, and to form a bottom angle between the backing part and the base plate.
[0007] This invention also has the following advantages: Because the width of the joint is smaller than the width of the support, the joint can be folded upwards after the slotted hole is cut, thus saving materials and costs. Because the width of the joint is equal to the width of the support, better support and fit are achieved. The elastic strap is exposed in the slotted hole, allowing it to be elastically pulled out and worn on the user's hand. The folded panel can be fixed to the substrate in different ways using magnetic attachments, adhesive tape, buckles, or clips. The covering layer prevents wear and tear on the substrate and folded panel over long-term use and provides a certain degree of cushioning and shock absorption. Simultaneously, each bend allows the corresponding connected components to pivot and fold.
Implementation Method
[0008] The detailed description and technical content of this creation will be explained in conjunction with the following drawings. However, the accompanying drawings are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to limit this creation.
[0009] This invention provides a support plate structure for supporting an electronic device A, or for directly mounting on the electronic device A or its protective casing. The electronic device A can be a mobile phone, tablet computer, portable computer, or other computer peripherals (3C products), etc. The support plate structure of this invention can be adjusted accordingly to support different sizes of electronic devices A. Referring to Figures 1 to 5, the support plate structure mainly includes a base plate 10, a folding plate 20, and an elastic strap 30.
[0010] The substrate 10 is generally rectangular and has a back surface 11, a top edge 12, and a bottom edge 13, with the back surface 11 located between the top edge 12 and the bottom edge 13. The folding plate 20 includes a longitudinally arranged abutment portion 21, a support portion 22, and a connecting portion 23 that are gradually moved away from the bottom edge 13. The abutment portion 21 is pivotally connected to the bottom edge 13, and the support portion 22 is pivotally connected between the abutment portion 21 and the connecting portion 23, thereby enabling the abutment portion 21 to pivot relative to the substrate 10, the support portion 22 to pivot relative to the abutment portion 21, and the connecting portion 23 to pivot relative to the support portion 22. Furthermore, the support portion 22 has a through hole 221, and the connecting portion 23 has a through hole 231. Furthermore, the strip hole 221 is arranged along the arrangement direction of the abutment part 21, the support part 22 and the joint part 23, that is, the strip hole 221 is parallel to the extension direction of the folded plate 20.
[0011] Please refer to Figures 2 and 4. In this embodiment, the width of the connecting portion 23 is smaller than the width of the supporting portion 22. Therefore, the connecting portion 23 can be formed by folding the supporting portion 22 upward after cutting the strip hole 221, thereby saving materials and reducing production costs. However, this invention is not limited to this. Please refer to Figure 6, which shows another embodiment of this invention. The main difference lies in the shape of the connecting portion 23. Specifically, the width of the connecting portion 23 is equal to the width of the supporting portion 22, thereby providing better support and fit. Therefore, the designer can adopt different forms of the connecting portion 23 according to the requirements.
[0012] One end of the elastic strap 30 is fixed to the substrate 10, and the other end is fixed to the substrate 10 after passing through the through hole 231. This allows the connecting portion 23 to move up and down along the elastic strap 30 when the folding plate 20 is folded and pivoted. The elastic strap 30 is partially exposed in the strip hole 221, allowing it to be elastically pulled out from the strip hole 221 to the outside of the folding plate 20. Preferably, the strip hole 221 extends further from the support portion 22 to the abutment portion 21, increasing the length of the strip hole 221 and increasing the area of the elastic strap 30 exposed within the strip hole 221, thus facilitating the user to pull out the elastic strap 30 for use.
[0013] In this embodiment, a magnetic attractor B is embedded inside the substrate 10, and another magnetic attractor (not shown) is embedded inside the abutment portion 21, support portion 22, and connecting portion 23 of the folded plate 20. Preferably, the magnetic attractor B of the substrate 10 is disposed inside the substrate 10 corresponding to the size of the back surface 11, but this invention is not limited thereto. For example, the magnetic attractor B of the substrate 10 can also be multiple spliced or disposed corresponding to a part of the back surface 11. Each magnetic attractor B can be a group of magnets with dissimilar magnetic properties, or one can be a magnet and the other can be an iron metal or an iron alloy, but this invention is not limited thereto, as long as it can generate magnetic force to attract. Furthermore, this invention is not limited to using magnetic attraction for fixation. For example, the back surface 11 of the substrate 10 and the abutment portion 21, support portion 22, and connecting portion 23 of the folded plate 20 can also be fixed by means of adhesive tape, fasteners, or buckles, but for the sake of convenience, the following description will only focus on the method of magnetic attraction.
[0014] Please refer to Figures 4 and 5. When folded, the folding plate 20 is flat against the back 11, and the two are attracted and fixed to each other by the magnetic attraction between the base plate 10 and the folding plate 20. At this time, the support plate structure of this invention occupies little space, so it is easy to store and carry.
[0015] Referring again to Figures 1 to 3, when unfolded, the connecting part 23 is folded in the opposite direction and moves down to the desired position along the elastic strap 30 through the through hole 231 of the connecting part 23. Magnetic force causes the reverse side of the connecting part 23 to adhere flatly to the back side 11 of the substrate 10, thereby forming a three-dimensional structure 100 with the abutment part 21, the support part 22, and the substrate 10. A viewing angle θ is formed between the abutment part 21 and the substrate 10 to tilt and support the electronic device A. When the connecting part 23 moves away from the abutment part 21, the viewing angle θ decreases accordingly; and when the connecting part 23 moves towards the abutment part 21, the viewing angle θ increases accordingly. Therefore, this invention does not impose many limitations on the viewing angle θ, meaning that the user can adjust the viewing angle θ according to different needs to facilitate the user's viewing angle of the electronic device A.
[0016] Further explanation: the support plate structure of this invention also includes a covering layer 40. The covering layer 40 covers the outer surfaces of the substrate 10 and the folded plate 20, and bends 41 are formed between the substrate 10 and the abutment portion 21, between the abutment portion 21 and the support portion 22, and between the support portion 22 and the connecting portion 23. In this embodiment, the covering layer 40 can be non-woven fabric, rubber, synthetic PU, plastic, or other suitable materials, but this invention is not limited to these. The covering layer 40 prevents the substrate 10 and the folded plate 20 from being exposed, thus avoiding wear and tear over long-term use, and provides a certain degree of cushioning and shock absorption. Simultaneously, each bend 41 allows the corresponding connected components to pivot and fold.
[0017] Please refer to Figures 7 and 8, which are schematic diagrams of the application of this invention in different usage scenarios. Here, electronic device A is only used as an illustration for mobile phones.
[0018] Referring first to Figure 7, when the user unfolds the folding plate 20 and forms a three-dimensional structure 100 with the substrate 10, the electronic device A can lean against the substrate 10 and be supported by the aforementioned three-dimensional structure 100. The user can adjust the upward viewing angle θ as needed to adjust to the most comfortable angle for viewing and use.
[0019] Referring to Figure 8, when the support plate structure of this invention is folded, the user can pull the elastic strap 30 out from the strip hole 221, and then pass his fingers through the gap between the elastic strap 30 and the folded plate 20, so that the support plate structure can be worn and hung on the user's hand without having to hold the electronic device A for a long time with his fingers.
