Abstract

This three-layer colored contact lens display kit is designed to showcase colored contact lenses and is suitable for retail channels such as pharmacies, Poya, Cosmed, Watsons, etc. This kit allows contact lens manufacturers to display their lenses in a complete and aesthetically pleasing manner within a high-transparency acrylic blister pack. Previously, display panels were mostly produced using wet packaging, primarily wet blister packs, with a few using wet bottles. Poorly assembled wet packaging can lead to leaks and mold growth. Printing was also used for display panels, but this resulted in color distortion and deformation. This new design uses an outer shell and a base, sealing the contact lenses between them. This method avoids mold and leakage problems, addresses the issues of product weather resistance and changes in colored contact lenses over long-term storage, and presents a more realistic image to consumers, increasing purchasing intentions and facilitating lens selection.

Description

Three-layer structure colored contact lens display set Three-tier Structure Colored Contact Lenses Showcase Technical Field

[0001] This creation is a device for displaying contact lenses. Its purpose is to place the contact lenses sold by manufacturers in this colored contact lens display set, so that the lenses can be clearly and realistically displayed, allowing customers to effectively select the product type they need and increasing the sales volume of lens manufacturers. Prior Technology

[0002] Given the rapid growth in the number of contact lens manufacturers and sales, the previous use of high-water-content bubble shells or glass bottles for display has proven problematic. These methods are prone to leakage, mold growth, and the bulky nature of glass products results in poor display quality. Furthermore, the presence of liquid display panels raises concerns about import / export customs restrictions. Summary of the Invention

[0003] Knowing that previous display films were displayed in bubble shells or glass bottles, this creation developed a mold to give the device an arc similar to that of an eyeball. The lens to be displayed is attached to the base and sealed with the outer shell, making the display film look like an eyeball wearing contact lenses, with a slightly magnified effect to make it easier for viewers to see.

[0004] As shown in Figure 2, this new method involves placing the contact lens on the base, flattening it, drying and dehumidifying it, and then inserting it into the outer shell for sealing, thus completing the manufacturing process. Simple Explanation of the Diagram

[0005] [Figure 1] is the top view and sectional view of this work. [Figure 2] Assembly breakdown diagram of this work. [Figure 3] This is a composite image of the works. Implementation

[0006] Please refer to Figures 2 and 3. This device consists of an outer shell (1) and a base (2). In the first stage of the process, the contact lens (3) is removed, sterilized with an antibacterial solution, and then placed on the base (2) and flattened. After drying, the base (2) is inserted into the outer shell (1) in a parallel and centered manner. In the second stage of the process, the outer shell (1) and the base (2) are sealed and glued together to complete the process.

Claims

1. A three-layer structure contact lens display assembly, comprising: One outer shell, made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), is molded into a hollow half-eyeball shape, serving as a space to accommodate the contact lens and its base. The other base, made of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), is molded into a solid half-eyeball shape. Its upper edge follows the average curvature of the eyeball to hold the contact lens, while its lower edge is flat and can be placed in a display tray after encapsulation. The contact lens, after being fitted into the base, can then be inserted into the outer shell for encapsulation.

2. The three-layer structure contact lens display assembly as described in Request 1, the outer shell of which is mainly semi-circular, with the outer ring of the semi-circle being square or round and can be modified according to customer requirements, and the interior of the semi-circle can accommodate the base for encapsulation.

3. The three-layer structure of the contact lens display assembly as described in claim 1, wherein the appearance of the base is close to the average curvature of the eyeball surface, which serves to adhere to and encapsulate the lens.
