Abstract
Description
Outdoor unit eaves structure improvement Technical Field
[0001] This creation is a type of eaves structure, especially an improvement to the eaves structure of an outdoor unit. Prior Technology
[0002] Note that outdoor air conditioning units are usually installed on the exterior walls of buildings, balconies, or outdoor spaces. They are exposed to sunlight and rain for a long time, which can easily cause the unit to rust and electrical parts to become damp due to direct rain, thus affecting their service life.
[0003] In existing technologies, common rain shelters are mostly rigid structures of fixed dimensions that must be locked to a wall or building structure to achieve the desired rain protection. These types of shelters are not only cumbersome to install, requiring drilling and damage to the wall, but their dimensions cannot be adjusted for different outdoor unit models, making them clearly impractical for installation environments where wall installation is not feasible or space is limited.
[0004] Therefore, how to provide a roof structure that does not need to be installed on a wall, can be directly fixed to the outdoor unit, and whose size and unfolding angle can be adjusted according to actual needs is an urgent problem to be solved in this technical field.
[0005] The following detailed description of the features and advantages of this invention is sufficient to enable anyone skilled in the art to understand the technical content of this invention and implement it accordingly. Furthermore, based on the content disclosed in this specification, the scope of the patent application, and the drawings, anyone skilled in the art can easily understand the purpose and advantages of this invention. [0021] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. The improved outdoor unit eaves structure of this invention is located above the outdoor air conditioning unit and mainly includes a first eaves 10, a second eaves 20, a plurality of fastening parts 30, and a plurality of flexible devices 40.
[0022] The first eaves 10 includes two connected first flexible eaves 00 forming a predetermined angle. The material can be a soft plastic or rubber material with waterproof and sun-proof properties, so that it has moderate elasticity when subjected to force and is not easy to break. A first fastener 12 is provided at one corner of each first flexible eaves 00.
[0023] The first fastener 12 includes a first fixing part 121 fixed to the first flexible eave body 00, and a plurality of first fastening parts 122 located on one side of the first fixing part and arranged longitudinally. Each first fastening part 122 defines a first inclined surface 1220 and a first slot 1222 located at the angle between the first fixing part 121 and the first inclined surface 1220, so as to facilitate the engagement of the fastener.
[0024] The second eaves 20 includes two connected, angled second flexible eaves 200, whose structure and material are similar to the first flexible eaves 00. Each second flexible eaves 200 can slide on each first flexible eaves 00, allowing the overall eaves size to be adjusted forward and backward. A second fastener 22 is provided at one corner of each second flexible eaves 200.
[0025] The second fastener 22 includes a second fixing part 221 and a plurality of longitudinally arranged second fastening parts 222. Each second fastening part 222 defines a second inclined surface 2220 and a second slot 2222. Its structure corresponds to the first fastener 12 so that they can be fastened together on the fastener 30.
[0026] During actual assembly, the first latching member 12 and the second latching member 22 are first aligned with the corresponding engaging positions of the fastening member 30, and then pushed along an installation direction so that the first inclined surface 1220 and the second inclined surface 2220 respectively make guiding contact with the outer edge of the fastening member 30. Through the elastic deformation generated by the sliding of the inclined surfaces, each first latching part 122 and each second latching part 222 temporarily expands outward. When pushed to the positioning position, each first latching groove 1222 and each second latching groove 2222 returns to its original position and engages with the corresponding engaging part of the fastening member 30, thereby completing the fastening and positioning.
[0027] During disassembly, force is applied in the opposite direction to cause the first latch 122 and the second latch 222 to elastically deform again, thereby disengaging the first slot 1222 and the second slot 2222 from the fastener 30, achieving the effect of repeated disassembly and assembly.
[0028] The fastener 30 is disposed at the upper corner of the outdoor unit 60. It includes a fixing part 300 fixed to each corner of the outdoor unit and a plurality of latching parts 302 arranged longitudinally on one side of the fixing part 300. Each latching part 302 defines an inclined surface 3020 and a slot 3022 located at the angle between the fixing part 300 and the inclined surface 3022. The slots 3022 of each fastener 30 are respectively used for the corresponding first latching part 122 and second latching part 222 to engage and lock in position, so that the first eaves 10 and the second eaves 20 can be stably fixed above the outdoor unit 60 at the same time.
[0029] During actual installation, the fixing parts 300 of each fastener 30 are first fixed to the corner positions above the outdoor unit 60, and then the first eaves 10 and the second eaves 20 are placed in the corresponding positions in sequence. During installation, the user can align the first fastener 12 and the second fastener 22 with the fastening part 302 of the fastener 30, and apply force to push along the installation direction from top to bottom or from outside to inside, so that the first inclined surface 1220, the second inclined surface 2220 and the inclined surface 3020 of the fastener 30 make guiding contact. Through the elastic deformation generated by the sliding of the inclined surfaces, the first fastening part 122 and the second fastening part 222 are temporarily extended outward.
[0030] When the first latching part 122 and the second latching part 222 are pushed to their corresponding positions, they respectively return to and engage with the latching groove 3022 of the fastening member 30, so that the first latching groove 1222, the second latching groove 2222 and the latching groove 3022 form a multi-point fastening and positioning, thereby completing the stable installation of the first eaves 10 and the second eaves 20 above the outdoor unit. During disassembly, only force needs to be applied in the opposite direction to make each latching part elastically deform again, so that the fastening can be released, achieving the effect of quick disassembly and assembly.
[0031] During disassembly, force is applied in the opposite direction to cause the first latch 122 and the second latch 222 to elastically deform again, thereby disengaging the first slot 1222 and the second slot 2222 from the fastener 30, achieving the effect of repeated disassembly and assembly.
[0032] The elastic device 40 can be an elastic rope, spring, or other restoring component, which is respectively spanned between the first flexible eaves 00 and the second flexible eaves 200 to limit the maximum angle range after the eaves are extended, and to provide restoring force when subjected to wind or external forces, so as to improve the overall structural stability.
[0033] In addition, the invention may further include a moving mechanism 50, which is disposed between the opposite sides of the first flexible eaves 00 and the second flexible eaves 200, so that the second eaves 20 can slide smoothly relative to the first eaves 10.
[0034] Specifically, the moving mechanism 50 may include a guide groove formed on the side of the first flexible eaves 00 and a sliding guide portion formed on the side of the second flexible eaves 200. The sliding guide portion can move linearly back and forth along the guide groove, so that the second eaves 20 can extend or retract relative to the first eaves 10.
[0035] During actual adjustment, the user can apply a pushing or pulling force to the second eaves 20, causing the second soft eaves 200 to slide along the extension direction of the first soft eaves 00, thereby changing the overall front and back dimensions of the eaves; after sliding to the predetermined position, the first eaves 10 and the second eaves 20 can be maintained in a stable relative position by cooperating with the aforementioned first fastener 12, second fastener 22 and fastener 30.
[0036] Through the above-mentioned sliding structure design, the eaves structure of this creation can be adjusted according to different outdoor unit sizes or installation space requirements, and the structure can remain stable and not easily displaced after the adjustment is completed.
[0037] The above embodiments are merely illustrative of the principles and effects of this invention and are not intended to limit this invention.
