Abstract
Description
Mattress springs Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a mattress spring body, and more particularly to a spring body with upper and lower segmented spacing, which uses different spring spacing to form different actuation zones to provide the mattress with good support, cushioning and resilience. Prior Technology
[0002] Springs are a widely used type of elastomer with functions such as shock absorption, energy storage, and measurement. Springs are mostly used in mattresses as the main support element. Mattresses can utilize the good elasticity, load-bearing capacity, and breathability of springs to provide mattress comfort.
[0003] Generally, springs are designed with the same spacing to produce the same elastic response when subjected to force. However, when used in mattresses, this type of spring with the same spacing still has the following problems: 1. The entire operating area of the spring is uniform, which cannot provide segmented support. 2. Body weight tends to concentrate, affecting comfort. 3. Limited buffering and decompression effects.
[0004] For the reasons mentioned above, there is still room for improvement in the existing technology. In view of this, the creator actively researched and, with years of experience in related product development, and through continuous experimentation and improvement, finally developed this creation. Summary of the Invention
[0005] The main purpose of this invention is to provide a mattress spring body that, through the configuration of the spring coil spacing in different sections, enables the spring to form a segmented elastic response when subjected to force, thereby simultaneously achieving the effects of initial support, load absorption, and rebound pressure relief.
[0006] To achieve the above objectives, this invention provides a mattress spring body, which is made of metal wire wound into a spring. The spring includes a spring top located at the uppermost end of the spring, the lower end of the spring top connected to an upper spring section, the lower end of the upper spring section connected to a lower spring section, and the lowermost end of the spring having a spring bottom, the upper end of the spring bottom connected to the lower spring section.
[0007] In this design, the spacing between the spring coils in the upper spring section is smaller than that in the lower spring section. This allows the spring to provide support during the initial stress phase, while under sustained stress, the lower spring section undergoes greater deformation to absorb the load and provide rebound. Furthermore, the spacing between the spring coils in the upper and lower spring sections is gradually adjusted.
[0008] A mattress comprises a comfort layer, a spring layer, and a bottom layer. The spring layer is located between the comfort layer and the bottom layer. The spring layer is equipped with springs. The top of the springs is in contact with the comfort layer of the mattress. The upper section of the springs provides initial support for the mattress. The bottom of the springs is in contact with the bottom layer of the mattress. The lower section of the springs absorbs body weight and provides a rebound force.
[0009] To further understand the features and technical content of this work, please refer to the following detailed description and accompanying drawings. However, the accompanying drawings are for reference and illustration purposes only and are not intended to impose any restrictions on this work. Simple Explanation of the Diagram
[0010] [Figure 1] is a three-dimensional view of the mattress spring body in this creation. [Figure 2] is a front view of the mattress spring body of this creation. [Figure 3] is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the application of the mattress spring body in the mattress. [Figure 4] is a planar schematic diagram of Figure 3. Implementation
[0011] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. This invention relates to a mattress spring body, which is a spring 10 made of metal wire wound together. The spring 10 includes a spring top 11 located at the uppermost end of the spring 10. The lower end of the spring top 11 is connected to an upper spring section 12. The lower end of the upper spring section 12 is connected to a lower spring section 13. The lowermost end of the spring 10 has a spring bottom 14, and the upper end of the spring bottom 14 is connected to the lower spring section 13.
[0012] Specifically, the spacing between the spring coils in the upper spring section 12 is smaller than that in the lower spring section 13, allowing the spring 10 to provide support force in the initial stage of stress, and the lower spring section 13 to generate greater deformation to absorb the load and provide rebound when subjected to continuous stress. Furthermore, the spacing between the spring coils in the upper spring section 12 and the lower spring section 13 is gradually varied.
[0013] The difference in the spring coil spacing between the upper spring section 12 and the lower spring section 13 can be achieved not only by adjusting the coil spacing, but also by changing the wire diameter or material properties.
[0014] A mattress 20 includes a comfort layer 21, a spring layer 22, and a bottom layer 23. The spring layer 22 is disposed between the comfort layer 21 and the bottom layer 23. The spring layer 22 is equipped with springs 10. The top 11 of the springs is in contact with the comfort layer 21 of the mattress 20. The upper spring section 12 can provide the initial support effect of the mattress 20. The bottom 14 of the springs is in contact with the bottom layer 23 of the mattress 20. The lower spring section 13 can absorb the weight of the human body and provide a reaction force rebound.
[0015] By using the different spring spacing configurations of the upper spring section 12 and the lower spring section 13, the spring 10 forms a segmented elastic response when subjected to force. When a user lies on the mattress 20, the body weight can be gradually transferred from the upper spring section 12 to the lower spring section 13, so that the weight is mainly concentrated in the lower spring section 13, providing a good cushioning and support effect. The bottom 14 of the spring is in contact with the bottom layer 23 of the mattress 20, which can also increase the stability of the mattress 20 and reduce slippage.
[0016] This innovative mattress spring system utilizes the spacing between spring coils in different sections to create a segmented elastic response when stressed, simultaneously achieving initial support, load absorption, and rebound pressure relief.
[0017] Although the invention has been disclosed above with reference to preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the invention. Anyone skilled in the art may make some modifications and refinements without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the invention shall be determined by the appended claims.
