Description

Binding hole positioning mechanism of punch binding machine Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to a binding hole positioning mechanism for a punching and binding machine, and in particular to an automated punching and binding machine capable of providing a fixed position for the binding holes and achieving left-right symmetry and central punching and binding balance. Prior Technology

[0002] For a long time, when using a punch binding machine to punch holes in paper or documents, rows of holes are punched on one side of many thin sheets of paper, and then they are neatly clamped together. This is a very important task when processing documents in the office. In the earliest days, this task was completed separately by punching and binding devices, which meant that the user had to move and even turn the paper and other bound items many times, making the process extremely tedious.

[0003] Furthermore, the conventional method involves using a hole punch to punch holes on one side of the bound paper or document. After completing one side, the bound document is flipped 180 degrees, and the hole punch is used to punch holes on the other side. However, this method is not only time-consuming but can also easily lead to paper skewing or hole misalignment, resulting in inaccurate hole placement.

[0004] Therefore, it is clear that there is a real need to improve the efficiency of punching and binding most holes in paper or documents.

[0005] In view of this, the main purpose of this work is to propose a solution for the binding of most holes in bound materials, which can ensure the binding (or punching) position and the left and right symmetry and the balance of the central punching binding. Summary of the Invention

[0006] The purpose of this invention is to provide a binding hole positioning mechanism for a punching and binding machine. It mainly utilizes a slide with side plates, left and right back plates that can be adjusted away from the edge hole position of the bound material, and left and right reverse size stickers affixed to the left and right back plates, so as to ensure the binding or punching position, the left and right symmetry of the edge holes of the bound material, and the balance of the central punching and binding.

[0007] To achieve the above objectives, this work employs the following technical means:

[0008] A binding hole positioning mechanism for a punch binding machine includes a punch binding machine, the punch binding machine comprising:

[0009] A machine platform, equipped with two slide rails and a compression control mechanism at the top;

[0010] A slide block, located on the machine platform, has two sliding grooves below it. These grooves can be mounted on the slide rails of the machine platform, allowing the slide block to move along the slide rails; and

[0011] A left back panel and a right back panel are respectively installed on the machine base. Size stickers with left and right opposite markings are affixed to the surface of the left and right back panels. The left and right back panels can be adjusted away from the edge holes of the binding material.

[0012] To provide your esteemed review committee with a better understanding of this work, the following diagrams are provided to illustrate and explain the creation in detail: Simple Explanation of the Diagram

[0013]

[0014] The first image is a structural diagram of the punching and binding machine in this work.

[0015] Figure 2: A schematic diagram of the external structure of the punching and binding machine in this work.

[0016] Figure 3: A partial cross-sectional schematic diagram of the punching and binding machine used in this work.

[0017] Figure 4: A front view diagram of the punching and binding machine used in this work.

[0019] Figure 6: Front view of the punch binding machine of this invention (II).

[0020] Figure 7: Front view of the punch binding machine of this invention (III). Implementation

[0021] The structure and function of this invention will be explained in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings:

[0022] Please refer to Figures 1 to 3. The punching and binding machine 100 mainly includes a machine base 10, a slide 20 mounted on the machine base 10, and left and right back plates 30 and 40 that can be adjusted away from the distance of the holes on the paper or document. A compression control mechanism 50 is provided at the top of the machine base 10. The left and right back plates 30 and 40 have size stickers 31 and 41 with left and right reverse markings affixed to their surfaces.

[0023] The slide 20 on the machine base 10 is provided with two slide rails 11 below it. Relative to the two slide rails 11, there are two left and right slide grooves 21 below the slide 20. The slide 20 is mounted on the slide rails 11 and moved by means of the slide grooves 21 (as shown in the second figure). The user only needs to push the side plate 22 on the side of the slide 20 by hand to move the slide 20. When heavy paper or documents are placed on the slide 20 for punching and binding, the slide 20 can be moved very easily.

[0024] Please refer to Figure 4. The left and right back plates 30 and 40 are also set on the machine base 10 and are located at the left and right ends below the compression control mechanism 50, respectively. The left and right back plates 30 and 40 are affixed with size stickers 31 and 41 with left and right opposite markings. It is worth mentioning that the size stickers 31 and 41 can be distinguished from the inside to the outside in units such as 3 to 21 (e.g., m / m). Referring to Figure 5, when the size numbers marked on the size stickers 31 and 41 on the left and right sides of the bound item A are the same, the punching and binding position A1 is the center position of the bound item A.

[0025] To set the punching and binding positions A2 and A3 of bound item A to 3 (m / m) on the left and right respectively, as shown in Figure 6, the user only needs to pull the side plate 22 to the right, so that the left side of bound item A is aligned with the position "3" on the size sticker 31, and a hole can be punched and bound at the punching and binding position A2 on the left side of bound item A; as shown in Figure 7, the user pushes the side plate 22 to the left, so that the right side of bound item A is aligned with the position "3" on the size sticker 41, and a hole can be punched and bound at the punching and binding position A3 on the right side of bound item A; and so on, bound item A can be punched and bound at any punching and binding position without having to flip bound item A 180 degrees, or transfer bound item A to another binding machine for binding after punching.

[0026] In summary, the binding hole positioning mechanism of this punching and binding machine utilizes a slide with side plates, left and right back plates adjustable in distance from the edge holes of the bound material, and left and right-reversed size stickers affixed to the left and right back plates. This ensures the binding or punching position, the left and right symmetry of the edge holes of the bound material, and the balance of the central punching and binding. Its practical effectiveness is beyond doubt. Furthermore, this invention has never been publicly disclosed or published in other publications, thus meeting the requirements of the Patent Law. Therefore, a patent application is filed in accordance with the law.
