Abstract

A noise reduction device for a server with a nose cone element is disposed in a server rack. The server rack has at least one air-cooled cooling fan that generates a high-temperature and high-noise airflow. The device includes: a noise reduction component frame having at least one noise reduction component hermetically disposed behind the at least one air-cooled cooling fan in the server rack; each noise reduction component individually corresponds to the air outlet of each air-cooled cooling fan; and each noise reduction component includes: a nose cone structure component comprising a nose cone structure body and a nose cone body. A nose cone structure support is fixed to the nose cone structure body, and the nose cone is fixed to the nose cone structure support to reduce the turbulence generated by each air-cooled cooling fan; a noise reduction component body includes a constriction section duct, the nose cone structure component is fixed to the front end of the constriction section duct of the noise reduction component body and adjacent to the air outlet of each air-cooled cooling fan; and a sound-absorbing material layer is disposed on the wall of the constriction section duct to perform primary absorption of the noise generated by each air-cooled cooling fan.
