Abstract

This novel invention proposes a wearable control interface, which is configured as a ring-shaped finger sleeve on the user's finger. The finger sleeve contains a touch panel, which can be configured with one to three sets as needed. Each panel extends perpendicular to the knuckle and can be directly touched by the thumb, providing touch input in different areas and adapting the control method to different application scenarios.

Claims

1. A wearable control interface, suitable for wearing on one of a user's fingers, comprising: a first annular finger sleeve suitable for fitting onto the finger, wherein a first panel is disposed within the first annular finger sleeve, the first panel extending in a direction perpendicular to the pointing direction of one of the finger joints, the first panel being at least 1 mm long and extending to encircle the entire finger joint, the first panel being positioned within the reach of the user's thumb, wherein... The first panel contains at least one touch chip.

2. The wearable control interface as described in claim 1 further includes a glove portion adapted to cover part of the user's palm, the glove portion being integrally formed with the ring-shaped finger sleeve.

3. The wearable control interface as described in claim 1, wherein, The first panel is configured as a curved capacitive touch panel.

4. The wearable control interface as described in claim 1, wherein, The first ring-shaped finger sleeve is a C-shaped ring that surrounds the part of the finger joint.

5. A wearable control interface, suitable for wearing on one of a user's fingers, comprising: a first annular finger sleeve suitable for wearing on the finger, the first annular finger sleeve having a first panel disposed therein, the first panel extending at least 1 mm in a direction perpendicular to the pointing direction of a knuckle, and to a maximum extent encircling the entire knuckle, the first panel being positioned within the reach of the user's thumb; and a second annular finger sleeve suitable for wearing on the same finger, electrically connected to the first annular finger sleeve, the second annular finger sleeve having a second panel disposed therein, the second panel extending at least 1 mm in a direction perpendicular to the pointing direction of the knuckle, and to a maximum extent encircling the entire knuckle, the second panel being positioned within the reach of the user's thumb; wherein... The first panel and the second panel each contain at least one touch chip.

6. The wearable control interface as described in claim 5, wherein, The first ring-shaped finger sleeve and the second ring-shaped finger sleeve are integrally formed.

7. The wearable control interface as described in claim 5, wherein, The first panel and the second panel are configured as curved capacitive touch panels.

8. A wearable control interface, suitable for wearing on one of a user's fingers, comprising: a first annular finger sleeve suitable for wearing on the finger, wherein a first panel is disposed inside the first annular finger sleeve, the first panel extending in a direction perpendicular to one of the pointing directions of a finger joint, the first panel being as small as 1 mm and as large as encircling the entire finger joint, the first panel being suitable for facing the area accessible to one of the user's thumbs; A second ring-shaped finger sleeve, adapted to be worn on the same finger, has a second panel inside, the second panel extending at least 1 mm perpendicular to the pointing direction of the knuckle and at most encircling the entire knuckle, the second panel being positioned within the reach of the user's thumb; and a third ring-shaped finger sleeve, adapted to be worn on the same finger, electrically connected to the first and second ring-shaped finger sleeves, the third ring-shaped finger sleeve having a third panel inside, the third panel extending at least 1 mm perpendicular to the pointing direction of the knuckle and at most encircling the entire knuckle, the third panel being positioned within the reach of the user's thumb; wherein. The first panel, the second panel, and the third panel each contain at least one touch chip.

9. The wearable control interface as described in claim 8, wherein, The first ring-shaped finger sleeve, the second ring-shaped finger sleeve, and the third ring-shaped finger sleeve are integrally formed.

10. The wearable control interface as described in claim 8, wherein, The first, second, and third panels are configured as curved capacitive touch panels.

11. The wearable control interface as described in any one of claims 1, 5, or 8, further comprising an inertial sensing element.
