Abstract

This invention provides a lead frame and a light-emitting device with unidirectional connecting ribs. The lead frame includes multiple lead frame units arranged in an array. Each lead frame unit includes a metal substrate and an insulating portion disposed outside the metal substrate. Adjacent lead frame units are connected only through the metal substrate in a first direction, and have a hollow portion formed in a second direction. This invention can reduce defects such as poor sealing and warping caused by exposed metal substrates.

Claims

1. A lead frame with unidirectional connecting ribs, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of lead frame units arranged in an array, each lead frame unit comprising a metal substrate and an insulating portion disposed outside the metal substrate, adjacent lead frame units being connected only through the metal substrate in a first direction, and having a hollow portion formed in a second direction.
