Abstract

This disclosure relates to an insurance payment management system. The system includes a first server that stores at least one subrogation claim, with each subrogation claim corresponding to a subrogation claim number. Next, virtual account information is generated based on the subrogation claim number, and the virtual account information is associated with the subrogation claim number. Finally, the recovery information for the corresponding subrogation claim is updated based on payment information.

Claims

1. An insurance payment management system operated by a first server, the first server including a storage device and a processor electrically connected to each other, the first server storing at least one subrogation case, the subrogation case corresponding to a subrogation number, and the first server being configured to perform the following procedures: (a) generating virtual account information based on the subrogation number, the virtual account information being associated with the subrogation number; and (b) receiving payment information and updating recovery information for one of the corresponding subrogation cases based on the payment information.

The insurance payment management system as described in claim 1, wherein when the program (b) receives the payment information, it checks the virtual account information, transaction amount and transaction date, and then updates the recovery information of the corresponding subrogation case based on the payment information.

3. The insurance payment management system as described in claim 2, wherein when the procedure (b) fails to pass the check, the system refuses to update the recovery information of the corresponding subrogation case with the payment information.

The insurance payment management system as described in claim 1, wherein the reimbursement information includes the transaction amount, transaction date or reimbursement date, and the first server is further configured to perform the following procedure: (c) determining whether the subrogation case is a settled case or an installment case, wherein the subrogation case is determined to be an installment case when the transaction amount is less than an estimated recovery amount, and the subrogation case is determined to be a settled case when the transaction amount is equal to the estimated recovery amount.

The insurance payment management system as described in claim 1 further includes a second server communicatively connected to the first server, wherein: In procedure (a), the virtual account information is transmitted to the second server, which checks the virtual account information with a weighted check logic, wherein the virtual account information consists of two sets of codes, one set of codes being provided by the second server and the other set of codes being provided by the first server; and in procedure (b), the payment information is provided by the second server.

6. The insurance cash flow management system as described in claim 5, wherein the first server is an insurance case management server and the second server is a financial server.

The insurance payment management system as described in claim 2 further includes procedures for performing the following: (d) the first server generates an accounting information based on the payment information, wherein the accounting information corresponds to a subrogation case; and (e) through an accounting comparison module, determines whether the transaction amount, the transaction date, and the virtual account information are consistent based on the payment information and the accounting information, and when the determination result is consistent, executes an offsetting procedure corresponding to the virtual account information.
