Abstract

A rack adapter is provided for use with a server rack. The rack adapter includes a left side panel, a right side panel, and multiple sets of slide rail mounting holes. The left side panel is located on a first side of the server rack. The right side panel is located on a second side of the server rack. The first side and the second side are opposite each other. Multiple sets of slide rail mounting holes are respectively located on the left side panel and the right side panel. Each set of slide rail mounting holes includes a three-hole configuration. The rack adapter can mount at least two servers.

Claims

1. A rack adapter, suitable for a rack, comprising: a left side panel disposed on a first side of the rack; a right side panel disposed on a second side of the rack, the first side and the second side being opposite each other; and multiple sets of slide rail mounting holes, respectively disposed on the left side panel and the right side panel, each set of slide rail mounting holes comprising a three-hole structure, wherein... This rack can accommodate at least two servers.

The cabinet adapter as described in claim 1, wherein the left side panel includes an upper side panel, a lower side panel, an L-shaped front side panel, and an L-shaped rear side panel, each of the L-shaped front side panel and the L-shaped rear side panel including corresponding sets of slide rail mounting holes, and the L-shaped front side panel and the L-shaped rear side panel are fixedly connected between the upper side panel and the lower side panel; the right side panel includes an upper side panel, a lower side panel, an L-shaped front side panel, and an L-shaped rear side panel, each of the L-shaped front side panel and the L-shaped rear side panel including corresponding sets of slide rail mounting holes, and the L-shaped front side panel and the L-shaped rear side panel are fixedly connected between the upper side panel and the lower side panel.

The cabinet adapter as described in claim 2, wherein the upper side panel and the lower side panel each include a U-shaped mounting bracket located in the depth direction of the cabinet and spaced apart by a distance, and each U-shaped mounting bracket includes a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface, which are respectively opposite to and fixedly connected to a first side surface of the L-shaped front side panel and a first side surface of the L-shaped rear side panel.

The rack adapter as described in claim 3, wherein each end of the upper side panel and the lower side panel includes a third mounting surface and a fourth mounting surface, the third mounting surface being perpendicularly connected to the first mounting surface, and the fourth mounting surface being substantially perpendicularly connected to the second mounting surface, wherein... The third mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to a second side surface of the L-shaped front panel, and the fourth mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to a second side surface of the L-shaped rear panel.

The rack adapter as described in claim 3, wherein the upper side panel and the lower side panel further include a first reinforcing plate and a second reinforcing plate, which are located in the height direction of the rack and are spaced apart by a distance. The first reinforcing plate includes a third mounting surface, and the second reinforcing plate includes a fourth mounting surface. The third mounting surface and the fourth mounting surface are respectively opposite to and fixedly connected to a second side surface of one of the L-shaped front side panels and a second side surface of one of the L-shaped rear side panels.

The cabinet adapter as described in claim 5, wherein the first reinforcing plate further includes a fifth mounting surface, a sixth mounting surface, and a seventh mounting surface, the sixth mounting surface being located between the fifth mounting surface and the seventh mounting surface, wherein the fifth mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to the first mounting surface of the U-shaped mounting bracket of the upper side panel, the seventh mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to the first mounting surface of the U-shaped mounting bracket of the lower side panel, and the sixth mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to the first side surface of the L-shaped front side panel.

7. The rack adapter as described in claim 6, wherein the sixth mounting surface is coplanar with the first mounting surface of each of the U-shaped mounting brackets.

The cabinet adapter as described in claim 7, wherein the second reinforcing plate further includes an eighth mounting surface, a ninth mounting surface, and a tenth mounting surface, the ninth mounting surface being located between the eighth mounting surface and the tenth mounting surface, wherein the eighth mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to the second mounting surface of the U-shaped mounting bracket of the upper side panel, the tenth mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to the second mounting surface of the U-shaped mounting bracket of the lower side panel, and the ninth mounting surface is opposite to and fixedly connected to the first side surface of the L-shaped rear side panel.

9. The rack adapter as described in claim 8, wherein the ninth mounting surface is coplanar with the second mounting surface of each of the U-shaped mounting brackets.

10. The cabinet adapter as described in claim 3 further includes an intermediate reinforcing plate disposed between the upper side plate and the lower side plate, the intermediate reinforcing plate being fixedly connected to each of the U-shaped mounting brackets.
