Abstract

This novel modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure includes: a plurality of modular aluminum extrusion components, each having at least one connecting end at both ends or in the middle of its length direction. Each connecting end has a pair of transversely opposite connecting portions, allowing the connecting portions of adjacent modular aluminum extrusion components to engage with each other. When not assembled, the pair of connecting portions forms a semi-circular recess on their opposite surfaces. After the connecting portions of adjacent connecting ends are joined, the semi-circular recesses abut to form a circular through hole. The circular through hole provides a fastener for installation, thereby allowing the modular aluminum extrusion components to be repeatedly connected for extended assembly along at least one direction.

Claims

1. A modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure, comprising: a plurality of modular aluminum extrusion components, each having at least one connecting end at both ends or in the middle of its length direction, each connecting end having a pair of transversely opposite connecting portions for interlocking of the connecting portions of adjacent modular aluminum extrusion components, wherein the pair of connecting portions, when not assembled, forms a semi-circular recess on its opposite surface, such that after the connecting portions of adjacent connecting ends are joined, the semi-circular recesses abut to form a circular through hole, the circular through hole providing a fastener for mounting, thereby allowing the modular aluminum extrusion components to be repeatedly connected for extended assembly along at least one direction.

2. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 1, wherein the cross-section of each modular aluminum extrusion component is I-shaped, cross-shaped, T-shaped, or L-shaped with C-angle or R-angle.

3. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 2, wherein each of the joint ends is disposed at both ends of the I-shaped modular aluminum extrusion member.

4. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 2, wherein each of the joint ends is disposed at the four mutually orthogonal ends of the cross-shaped modular aluminum extrusion member.

5. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 2, wherein each of the joint ends is disposed at at least one end of the T-shaped modular aluminum extrusion member.

6. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 2, wherein each of the joint ends is disposed at both ends of the L-shaped modular aluminum extrusion member.

7. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 1, wherein each of the joints is a hook structure with complementary shapes and mirror images of each other.

8. The modular aluminum extrusion assembly structure as described in claim 7, wherein the hook structure includes an insertion portion and a hook groove portion.
