Abstract

An ice-making apparatus includes a chassis, two supports, a feed tray, a conveying unit, a roller unit, and a blade. The supports are spaced apart from each other within the chassis. The feed tray is disposed on the supports. The conveying unit is disposed within the chassis and connected to the feed tray for supplying raw material to the feed tray. The roller unit is disposed on the supports and includes a roller pivotally mounted between the supports and adjacent to the feed tray. The roller has an outer peripheral surface capable of adhering to the raw material. The roller can be cooled by a refrigerant fluid, causing the raw material adhering to the outer peripheral surface to solidify into an ice layer. The blade spans the supports, is adjacent to the roller, and spaced apart from the outer peripheral surface, and can scrape off the ice layer from the outer peripheral surface.

Claims

1. An ice-making apparatus, comprising: a chassis; two supports spaced apart from each other in the chassis; a feed tray disposed on the supports; at least one conveying unit disposed in the chassis and connected to the feed tray for providing a raw material to the feed tray; a roller unit disposed on the supports, the roller unit including a roller pivotally disposed between the supports and adjacent to the feed tray, the roller having an outer peripheral surface capable of adhering to the raw material, the roller being cooled by a cooling fluid to cause the raw material adhering to the outer peripheral surface to solidify into an ice layer; and a blade bridging the supports, the blade being adjacent to the roller and spaced apart from the outer peripheral surface, capable of scraping off the ice layer on the outer peripheral surface.

2. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The material conveying unit includes a pump disposed in the chassis, a material receiving pipe connected to the pump, and a material conveying pipe connected to the pump and the material feeding tray.

3. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein, The feeding tray includes a first tray body disposed on the supports. The first tray body has at least one inlet hole connected to the feeding pipe, a recessed feeding space that communicates with the inlet hole for placing the raw material, a bottom surface, and two side walls. The bottom surface and the side walls define the feeding space.

4. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein, The feeding space has a feeding section and a connecting groove formed from the bottom surface and connected to the feeding hole.

5. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein, The feeding tray also includes a second tray connected to the side of the first tray facing the chassis, the second tray having a drainage space and a drainage hole communicating with the drainage space.

6. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 4, wherein, The bottom surface is arc-shaped and the connecting groove is formed in the middle of the bottom surface, extending from one side wall to the other side wall.

7. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein, The chassis includes a chassis body and a support plate that protrudes forward from the lower end of the chassis body. The material conveying unit also includes a material feeding rack that is detachably mounted on the support plate.

8. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein, The ice-making device includes two feeding units, and the first plate has two inlet holes that are respectively connected to the feeding pipes.

9. The ice-making apparatus as claimed in claim 3 further includes a cleaning unit disposed in the chassis and connected to the feeding tray. The cleaning unit includes a cleaning pump disposed in the chassis, a water intake pipe connected to the cleaning pump, a connecting pipe connected to the cleaning pump and extending into the chassis, and a water supply pipe connecting the connecting pipe and the feeding tray. The first tray of the feeding tray also has a water supply hole communicating with the feeding space and connected to the water supply pipe.
