Abstract

A backlight module includes an inner frame, an outer frame, a light source, an optical plate sheet, and a reflector. The inner frame includes a back panel and sidewalls, the sidewalls being connected to the back panel and having a through-slot. The outer frame covers the sidewalls of the inner frame and the slot. The light source is disposed within the inner frame. The optical plate sheet is disposed within the inner frame and includes a mounting ear that inserts into the slot, and has an end face facing the inner surface of the outer frame. The reflector is disposed on the end face of the mounting ear of the optical plate sheet.

Claims

1. A backlight module, comprising: an inner frame including a back plate and a side wall, the side wall being connected to the back plate and having a slot extending through the side wall; an outer frame covering the side wall of the inner frame and the slot, wherein a surface reflectivity of the outer frame is less than that of the inner frame; a light source disposed in the inner frame; at least one optical plate sheet disposed in the inner frame and including a hook inserted into the slot, the hook having an end face facing an inner surface of the outer frame; and a reflector disposed on the end face of the hook of the at least one optical plate sheet, wherein a surface reflectivity of the reflector is greater than that of the outer frame.

The backlight module as described in claim 1, wherein the inner frame has a light outlet opposite to the back panel, the at least one optical plate sheet further includes a body disposed opposite to the light outlet, the lug protrudes from one side of the body, the end face of the lug is located on the side of the lug away from the body, and is covered by the reflector.

3. The backlight module as described in claim 1, wherein the reflector shields the slot of the inner frame.

4. The backlight module as described in claim 3, wherein the reflector and the inner frame together form a reflective structure that completely surrounds the at least one optical sheet.

5. The backlight module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one optical plate sheet is a plurality of and stacked in the inner frame, and the reflector covers the end face of the lug of each of the optical plate sheets.

6. The backlight module as described in claim 1, wherein the reflector is a reflective film, the reflective film being attached to the end face of the ear or the inner surface of the outer frame, or the reflective film being a surface coating of the end face of the ear.

7. The backlight module as described in claim 1, wherein the end face of the lug is injected with a plurality of reflective particles as the reflector.

8. The backlight module as described in claim 1 further includes a reflective sheet comprising a main reflective portion and an extension portion, the main reflective portion being disposed on the back plate of the inner frame, the extension portion being connected to the main reflective portion and bent relative to the main reflective portion, the extension portion covering the end face of the lug and serving as the reflector.

9. The backlight module as described in claim 1, wherein the inner frame is a metal frame and the outer frame is a black frame.

10. A display comprising: a display panel; and a backlight module as described in any one of claims 1 to 9, disposed on a rear side facing the display panel.
