Abstract
Claims
1. An improved precision ceramic control valve, comprising a rotating seat assembled within a valve housing, below which, within the valve housing, are sequentially stacked a linkage block, a movable valve plate, and a fixed valve plate. A valve stem extending upwards from the valve housing is centrally mounted on the rotating seat. The actuating portion at the bottom of the valve stem engages with the linkage block, which in turn connects to the movable valve plate. Operation of the valve stem, via the linkage block, causes the movable valve plate to translate, or translate and then rotate, thereby altering the alignment between the movable and fixed valve plates. This change in alignment controls the opening and closing of a faucet, or alters the mixing ratio of hot and cold water and the flow rate. A valve seat below the valve housing prevents the fixed valve plate, movable valve plate, linkage block, and rotating seat from falling out. Multiple independent tubular gaskets are provided between the valve seat and the fixed valve plate. The rotating seat has a central opening, and a pivot hole and a fixing hole are provided on the side through the opening. The pivot hole is used with a pivot shaft, and the fixing hole is used with a stop rod. The valve stem has a horizontally penetrating pivot hole and an arc-shaped groove. The upper and lower sections of the arc-shaped groove are connected by through holes. The valve stem is provided through the opening of the rotating seat, and the pivot shaft is simultaneously inserted into the pivot holes of the rotating seat and the valve stem. The stop rod is simultaneously inserted into the fixing hole of the rotating seat and the arc-shaped groove of the valve stem, so that the valve stem can be pivoted on the rotating seat. The bottom end of the valve stem has a protruding actuating part. A control rod can be inserted into each of the two through holes according to customized requirements. The movable valve plate has at least one water passage hole. The fixed valve plate has multiple flow holes, and the end of each flow hole is enlarged to form a receiving groove. The valve seat is provided with multiple water flow channels. When the valve seat is stacked with the fixed valve plate, the water flow channels will be connected to the flow hole. Each water flow channel has a groove on its outer side. The groove is recessed from the top surface of the valve seat to the bottom surface of the valve seat, so that the outer side and the inner side of the groove can respectively become an outer stop and an inner stop. The tubular gasket has a height so that it can be accommodated in both the receiving groove of the fixed valve plate and the groove of the valve seat.
2. An improvement to the precision ceramic control valve as described in claim 1, wherein, The inner baffle is higher than the outer baffle.
