Abstract

A coin counting device includes a base, a central plate seat disposed on the base, a counter disposed on the central plate seat, a receiving hopper disposed on the base, a turntable located above the central plate seat and having a plurality of annularly arranged coin slots, a connecting mechanism for rotatably mounting the turntable on the central plate seat, and a power source disposed on the central plate seat and controllably driving the turntable to rotate relative to the central plate seat. A portion of the connecting mechanism extends through the turntable and is supported on the central plate seat, creating a gap between the central portion of the turntable and the central plate seat. This gap is maintained even when a large number of coins are stacked on the turntable, preventing an increase in the contact area between the turntable and the central plate seat, thereby reducing wear and tear and extending the device's service life.

Claims

1. A coin counting device, comprising: a base; a middle plate seat disposed on the base; a counter disposed on the middle plate seat; a receiving hopper disposed on the base; a turntable located above the middle plate seat and having a plurality of annularly arranged coin slots; a connecting mechanism rotatably disposed on the middle plate seat, wherein a portion of the connecting mechanism extends through the turntable and is supported on the middle plate seat, such that a gap exists between the central portion of the turntable and the middle plate seat; and a power source disposed on the middle plate seat and controllably driving the turntable to rotate relative to the middle plate seat.
