Abstract

This invention discloses a watering device with timed and metered irrigation function, suitable for automatically providing water to plants. The device includes an inner water tank, an outer water trough, a telescopic sleeve, at least one cotton thread, and a timed and metered irrigation device. The inner water tank has a receiving space to hold water, which flows into the receiving space of the outer water trough. The side wall of the outer water trough is connected to the telescopic sleeve, and at least one cotton thread inside the telescopic sleeve transports the water to the top of the sleeve, dripping the water into the water inlet of the timed and metered irrigation device. When the water volume accumulates to a predetermined weight after a predetermined time, the timed and metered irrigation device pours out a portion of the water, which, under the action of a counterweight, re-enters the water circulation. This invention aims to solve the problem of water stagnation in the collection tray, which leads to the proliferation of microorganisms, putrid odors, the breeding of small pests, and the spread of pathogens.
