Abstract

A dual-detection and defense system for raised floor charge and cold aisle heat flow, specifically designed for financial data centers, includes a voltage sensor, multiple temperature sensors, and a central control console. The voltage sensor is installed on a raised floor beneath an aisle between two rows of servers in a server room to sense the voltage around the raised floor. The temperature sensors are installed on one of the two rows of servers adjacent to the aisle to sense the ambient temperature in front of the server. The central control console is electrically connected to the voltage sensor and the temperature sensors. The central control console determines the presence of personnel in front of the server when a change occurs in the voltage sensed by the voltage sensor or the ambient temperature sensed by at least one of the temperature sensors.

Claims

1. A dual identification and defense system for overhead floor charge and cold aisle heat flow in a financial data center, comprising: a voltage sensor installed on an overhead floor below an aisle between two rows of servers in a server room to sense the voltage around the overhead floor; a plurality of temperature sensors installed on one of the two rows of servers next to the aisle to sense the ambient temperature in front of the server; and a central control unit electrically connected to the voltage sensor and the temperature sensors, the central control unit determining the presence of personnel in front of the server when a change occurs in the voltage sensed by the voltage sensor and the ambient temperature sensed by at least one of the temperature sensors.

2. The dual authentication defense system as described in claim 1, wherein after the central control panel determines that a person is present in front of the server, the central control panel locks the door of the server.

3. The dual authentication defense system as described in claim 1, wherein after the central control console determines that there are personnel in front of the server, the central control console locks the doors on both sides of the passage in the server room.

4. The dual authentication defense system as described in claim 1, wherein after the control console determines that a person is present in front of the server, the control console notifies an administrator of the server's location.

5. The dual authentication defense system as described in claim 1, wherein the voltage sensor is an electrostatic voltage sensor to sense the electrostatic voltage around the raised floor, and the temperature sensors are at different heights relative to the raised floor to sense the ambient temperature at different heights in front of the server.
