Abstract

A waist-twisting stepper includes a base, a pedal assembly, a cushioning mechanism, and an elastic rope. The base has a rotating wheel. The pedal assembly has a pivot frame and a pedal section. The pivot frame has a first pivot joint and a second pivot joint. The first pivot joint is pivotally mounted on the base, allowing the pedal assembly to rotate relative to the base. The pedal section is pivotally mounted on the second pivot joint, allowing it to swing left and right relative to the pivot frame. The cushioning mechanism provides buffering resistance when the pedal section swings under force. The elastic rope passes around the rotating wheel and its two ends are connected to opposite sides of the pivot frame, generating an elastic restoring force when the pivot frame rotates relative to the base. Therefore, this invention combines tiltable center-of-gravity stepping and waist-twisting functions.

Claims

1. A waist-twisting stepper, comprising: A base with a rotating wheel and a handrail; a pedal assembly with a pivot frame and a pedal portion, wherein one end of the pivot frame has a first pivot portion and the other end has a second pivot portion, and the pedal portion has a pair of footing areas; wherein the first pivot portion is pivotally mounted on the base, allowing the pedal assembly to rotate relative to the base, and the pedal portion is pivotally mounted on the second pivot portion, allowing it to swing left and right relative to the pivot frame; a buffer mechanism is disposed between the base and the pedal portion to provide buffering resistance when the pedal portion is subjected to force and swings; an elastic rope is wound around the rotating wheel, and its two ends are respectively connected to opposite sides of the pivot frame, the elastic rope being used to generate an elastic restoring force when the pivot frame rotates relative to the base.

2. The waist-twisting stepper as described in claim 1, wherein, The pivot frame defines an intersecting first axis and a second axis, with the first pivot extending along the first axis and the second pivot extending along the second axis.

3. The waist-twisting stepper as described in claim 1, wherein, The cushioning mechanism further has a pair of cushioning components, one end of each of the cushioning components being connected to the base and the other end being connected to the pedal, and each corresponding to the corresponding stepping area.

4. The waist-twisting stepper as described in claim 3, wherein, The buffer assembly is selected from one of the following: hydraulic cylinder, pneumatic cylinder, and buffer damper.

5. The waist-twisting stepper as described in claim 1, wherein, The base also has a pair of guide pulleys, and the two ends of the elastic rope are connected to the pivot frame through the pair of guide pulleys.

6. The waist-twisting stepper as described in claim 5, wherein, The outer circumferential surface of the wheel is provided with a first guide groove, the guide wheel assembly has at least two guide wheels, the outer circumferential surface of the guide wheel is provided with a second guide groove, and the elastic rope can slide through the first guide groove and the second guide groove.

7. The waist-twisting stepper as described in claim 1, wherein, The pivot frame also has a pair of limiting members, respectively corresponding to the opposite lower part of the pair of foot pedals, to limit the swing amplitude of the pedal part.
