Abstract

This invention discloses a waste sorting system that uses artificial intelligence to identify and classify waste types. The system includes an image capture module, a judgment module, a voice module, and a power supply module. Through this system, the hardware design utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms to identify waste images captured by the image capture module. Before a user disposes of waste, the image capture module captures an image of the waste, the judgment module's artificial intelligence algorithm identifies the waste type, and finally, the voice module instructs the user to sort the waste. This system effectively combines artificial intelligence and voice instructions to improve the accuracy of waste sorting, utilizes a solar power supply module for environmental sustainability and low carbon emissions, and combines innovation and practicality for effective promotion in smart city construction.

Claims

1. A waste sorting system, mainly set up in a resource recycling area, the waste sorting system (1) includes at least: an image capturing module (11) for capturing an image; a judgment module (12) electrically connected to the image capturing module (11), the judgment module (12) receiving the image from the image capturing module (11) and performing an image judgment procedure; a voice module (13) electrically connected to the judgment module (12), when the judgment module (12) judges the image, driving the voice module (13) to output a corresponding instruction voice; and a power supply module (14) electrically connected to the image capturing module (11), the judgment module (12) and the voice module (13) respectively, to provide the power required for its operation.

2. The waste sorting system as described in claim 1, wherein the recycling area is provided with a plurality of waste bins (2), each of the waste bins (2) being used to provide placement for different types of waste.

3. The waste sorting system as described in claim 2, wherein the waste bins (2) are bins for holding two or more types of waste, such as general waste, paper, metal, plastic containers, glass containers, batteries, old clothes, kitchen waste or others.

4. The waste sorting system as described in claim 1, wherein the image capturing module (11) is a USB camera.

5. The waste sorting system as described in claim 1, wherein the judgment module (12) is an artificial intelligence computing module, which is mainly trained by one of the algorithms of Teachable Machine or TensorFlow.

The waste sorting system as described in claim 1, wherein the recycling area is provided with a plurality of waste bins (2), the waste bins (2) being bins for placing two or more types of waste, such as general waste, paper, metal, plastic containers, glass containers, batteries, old clothes, kitchen waste or others.

7. The waste sorting system as described in claim 6, wherein the voice output by the voice module (13) corresponds to the type of waste bins (2).

The waste sorting system as described in claim 7, wherein each waste bin (2) is provided with a light-emitting module (21) electrically connected to the judgment module (12), and when the instruction voice emitted by the voice module (13) corresponds to the type of waste bin (2), the light-emitting module (21) emits a light.

9. The waste sorting system as described in claim 7, wherein each waste bin (2) is provided with a drive module (22) electrically connected to the judgment module (12) and a cover (23) electrically connected to the drive module (22), and when the instruction voice issued by the voice module (13) corresponds to the type of waste bin (2), the drive module (22) drives the cover (23) to open.

10. The waste sorting system as described in claim 1, wherein the voice module (13) is a loudspeaker.

11. The waste sorting system as described in claim 1, wherein the power supply module (14) is either a solar power supply module or a mains power supply module.

12. The waste sorting system as claimed in claim 11, wherein when the power supply module (14) is a solar power supply module, the power supply module (14) includes a solar panel (141) and an energy storage device (142) electrically connected to the solar panel (141).
