Abstract

This invention relates to a foldable suspension chair, comprising a seat, an upper fixing frame, a base, and a lower fixing frame. The upper fixing frame is pivotally mounted on the bottom surface of the seat, while the lower fixing frame is pivotally mounted on the base. The upper and lower fixing frames are connected by an intermediate rope, and the seat and the base are connected by multiple outer ropes, with the intermediate rope being shorter than the outer ropes. Thus, the seat and its upper fixing frame are suspended from the lower fixing frame, preventing the user from sitting stably on the seat and forcing them to engage their core muscles to maintain a stable posture. This also provides a wobbly and engaging seating experience, potentially attracting the attention of children with ADHD and encouraging them to concentrate more. Furthermore, since the upper and lower fixing frames are pivotally connected to the seat and base respectively, the suspension chair can be easily folded and carried when traveling.

Claims

1. A foldable suspension chair, comprising: A chair; An upper fixed frame is pivotally mounted under the chair seat; a base is located below the chair seat and the upper fixed frame; And a lower fixing frame, which is pivotally mounted on the base and orthogonally spans the upper fixing frame, and is detachably connected between the upper fixing frame and the lower fixing frame by an intermediate rope.

2. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 1, wherein: The upper fixed frame system includes: a first horizontal bar; and two upper diagonal bars, the two ends of which are respectively pivotally connected to the underside of the chair seat, and the other two ends are close to each other and connected to the two ends of the first horizontal bar; and the lower fixed frame system includes: a second horizontal bar, which is orthogonally straddling the first horizontal bar of the upper fixed frame; and two lower diagonal bars, the two ends of which are respectively pivotally connected to the base, and the other two ends are close to each other and connected to the two ends of the second horizontal bar; wherein one end of one of the two lower diagonal bars is detachably connected to the second horizontal bar.

3. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 2, wherein: The bottom surface of one end of the second crossbar is recessed into a wedge-shaped groove; and one end of the lower inclined bar, which is detachably connected to the second crossbar, protrudes a matching wedge-shaped block corresponding to the wedge-shaped groove; wherein, on the pivoting path of the lower inclined bar, the wedge-shaped block is engaged or disengaged from the wedge-shaped groove.

4. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 3, wherein the upper fixed frame pivots toward the detachably connected lower inclined rod.

5. The foldable suspension chair as described in any one of claims 1 to 4 further includes a plurality of outer ropes connected between the seat and the base, and longer than the intermediate rope.

6. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 5, wherein a spool is embedded at a point where the base connects to each of the outer ropes, each spool being connected to one end of the outer rope and partially exposed outside the base, and the length of the outer ropes can be adjusted by rotating each spool in different directions.

7. The foldable suspension chair as described in any one of claims 1 to 4 further includes a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat.

8. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 6 further includes a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat.

9. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 8, wherein the seat comprises: a frame for pivoting the upper fixing frame and the backrest; and a cushion fixed around the frame.

10. The foldable suspension chair as described in claim 9, wherein: Both the frame and the base are square frames; and the external ropes are four in number, respectively connected to the four corners of the frame and the base.
