Abstract

An accounting standards integration system is applicable to an external device and includes: a storage unit for storing multiple first accounting entries belonging to a first accounting standard and recorded in a first currency; and a processing unit electrically connected to the storage unit and the external device; the processing unit is configured to: receive multiple second accounting entries from the external device corresponding to the first accounting entries, the second accounting entries belonging to a second accounting standard and recorded in a second currency; calculate multiple outgoing amounts recorded in the first currency from the second accounting entries using exchange rate data; and generate multiple reversal entries including multiple exchange difference amounts based on the first accounting entries and the outgoing amounts, the exchange difference amounts balancing the first accounting entries with the outgoing amounts.

Claims

1. An accounting standards integration system, electrically connected to an external device, comprising: a storage unit storing multiple first accounting entries belonging to a first accounting standard and corresponding to a first region, wherein, The first accounting entries are recorded in a first currency used in the first region; and a processing unit electrically connected to the storage unit and the external device; the processing unit is configured to: receive multiple second accounting entries from the external device corresponding to the first accounting entries, wherein the second accounting entries belong to a second accounting standard and correspond to a second region, and the second accounting entries are recorded in a second currency used in the second region; calculate multiple outgoing amounts recorded in the first currency for each of the second accounting entries using exchange rate data related to the first currency and the second currency; generate multiple reversal entries corresponding to the first accounting entries based on the first accounting entries and the outgoing amounts, the reversal entries each containing multiple exchange difference amounts, the exchange difference amounts balancing the first accounting entries and the outgoing amounts.

2. The accounting standards integration system as described in claim 1, wherein, The first accounting standard is IFRS 16, and the second accounting standard is ASC 842.

3. In the accounting standards integration system as described in claim 1, for each first accounting entry, the processing unit calculates exchange difference account information corresponding to the exchange difference amount based on the first accounting entry and the corresponding outflow amount. When the processing unit determines that the outflow amount corresponding to the first accounting entry is less than the first accounting entry, it sets the exchange difference account information and the exchange difference amount on the credit side and sets the exchange difference account information as a conversion gain. When the processing unit determines that the outflow amount corresponding to the first accounting entry is greater than the first accounting entry, it sets the exchange difference account information and the exchange difference amount on the debit side and sets the exchange difference account information as a conversion loss.

4. The accounting standards integration system as described in claim 1, wherein the storage unit further stores fixed exchange rate data, and for each first accounting entry, the processing unit generates accounting subject data included in the reversal entry based on the first accounting entry; when the processing unit determines that the accounting subject data belongs to other payables, it sets the fixed exchange rate data as the exchange rate data; when the processing unit determines that the accounting subject data does not belong to other payables, it sets an immediate exchange rate data as the exchange rate data.
