Abstract

A smart voice call switching system includes a first connection port connected to a public switched telephone network (PSTN) and a second connection port connected to a telephone. A switching unit of a processing module is electrically connected to the first connection port, the second connection port, and a call proxy unit. When the current time matches a first predetermined time, the switching unit controls the first and third ports of the channel switching module to be connected. When the PSTN transmits an incoming call signal to the first connection port, the incoming call signal is input from the first connection port and output from the third port to the telephone via the second connection port. When the switching unit detects that the telephone has not responded to the incoming call signal within a second predetermined time, the switching unit controls the second and third ports of the channel switching module to be connected, and establishes a first call connection between the PSTN and the call proxy unit.

Claims

1. A smart voice call switching system for connecting a public switched telephone network (PSTN) and at least one telephone, the smart voice call switching system comprising: a first connection port connected to the PSTN; at least one second connection port connected to the at least one telephone; a first signal converter electrically connected to the first connection port and configured to convert analog signals from the PSTN into corresponding digital signals; a processing module comprising a switching unit and a call proxy unit, the switching unit being electrically connected to the first signal converter and the call proxy unit; and a second signal converter electrically connected to the switching unit and configured to convert analog signals from the at least one telephone into corresponding digital signals, or to convert digital signals from the switching unit into corresponding analog signals; A channel switching module has a first port, a second port and a third port. The first port is electrically connected to the first signal converter and the first connection port. The second port is electrically connected to the second signal converter. The third port is electrically connected to the at least one second connection port. The channel switching module is used to control the first port or the second port and the third port to be connected. When the switching unit determines that the current time matches a first predetermined time, the switching unit controls the first port and the third port to connect through the channel switching module. When the public switched telephone network transmits an incoming call signal to the first connection port, the incoming call signal is input from the first port through the first connection port and output from the third port through the at least one second connection port to the at least one telephone. The first signal converter converts the incoming call signal received from the first connection port from an analog signal to a corresponding digital signal and transmits it to the switching unit. The switching unit monitors whether the at least one telephone does not respond to the incoming call signal within a second predetermined time. When the switching unit detects that the at least one telephone does not respond to the incoming call signal within the second predetermined time, the switching unit controls the second port and the third port to connect through the channel switching module. The switching unit establishes a first call connection between the public switched telephone network and the call proxy unit based on the incoming call signal.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein when the at least one telephone responds to the incoming call signal within the second predetermined time, a second call connection is established between the public switched telephone network and the at least one telephone.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein the first signal converter is used to convert an analog signal from the at least one telephone into a corresponding digital signal, or to convert a digital signal from the switching unit into a corresponding analog signal; after the switching unit directs the first call connection to the call proxy unit, when the at least one telephone transmits an off-hook signal to the second signal converter through the at least one second connection port, the third port and the second port, the second signal converter converts the off-hook signal from an analog signal into a corresponding digital signal and transmits it to the switching unit, and the switching unit controls the first port and the third port to be connected through the channel switching module according to the off-hook signal, and directs the first call connection to the at least one telephone.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein when the switching unit directs the first call connection to the call proxy unit, the public switched telephone network transmits a notification signal to the first signal converter through the first connection port, the first signal converter converts the notification signal from an analog signal to a corresponding digital signal and transmits it to the switching unit, the switching unit controls the first port to connect to the third port through the channel switching module according to the notification signal, and directs the first call connection to the at least one telephone.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein when the switching unit determines that the current time does not meet the first predetermined time, the switching unit controls the second port and the third port to connect through the channel switching module; when the public switched telephone network transmits the incoming call signal to the first connection port, the first signal converter converts the incoming call signal received from the first connection port from an analog signal to a corresponding digital signal and transmits it to the switching unit; the switching unit establishes the first call connection between the public switched telephone network and the call agent unit based on the incoming call signal.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein when the call agent unit determines that the current time matches a third predetermined time, the call agent unit sends a first outgoing call request signal to the transfer unit, the transfer unit establishes a third call connection based on the first outgoing call request signal, and sends a first outgoing line signal to the first signal converter, the first signal converter converts the first outgoing line signal from a digital signal to a corresponding analog signal and transmits it to the public switched telephone network (PSTN), when the PSTN responds to the first outgoing line signal, the transfer unit stops transmitting the first outgoing line signal to the PSTN through the first signal converter and the first connection port, and the transfer unit redirects the third call connection to the PSTN.

7. The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 6 includes a data storage unit electrically connected to the transfer unit. The first outgoing call request signal corresponds to a first outgoing number. After the third call connection ends, the transfer unit stores a proxy call record corresponding to the third call connection through the data storage unit. The proxy call record includes the first outgoing number. When the current time does not meet the first predetermined time, the transfer unit controls the second port and the third port to connect through the channel switching module. When the at least one telephone sends a second outgoing call request signal to the at least one second connection port, the second outgoing call request signal is input from the third port through the at least one second connection port. The signal is transmitted from the second port to the second signal converter, which converts the second outgoing call request signal from an analog signal to a corresponding digital signal and transmits it to the transfer unit. The second outgoing call request signal corresponds to a second outgoing number. The transfer unit searches for the first outgoing number in the data storage unit that matches the proxy call record based on the second outgoing number corresponding to the second outgoing call request signal, and transmits a corresponding prompt signal to the second signal converter. The second signal converter converts the prompt signal from a digital signal to a corresponding analog signal and transmits it to the second port. The prompt signal is input from the second port and transmitted to the at least one telephone via the second port and the at least one second connection port.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein when the current time does not meet the first predetermined time, the switching unit controls the second port and the third port to be connected through the channel switching module; when the at least one telephone transmits a second outgoing call request signal to the at least one second connection port, the second outgoing call request signal is input from the third port through the at least one second connection port and transmitted from the second port to the second signal converter; the second signal converter converts the second outgoing call request signal from an analog signal to a corresponding digital signal and transmits it to the switching unit; the switching unit controls the first port and the third port to be connected through the channel switching module according to the second outgoing call request signal, so that the second outgoing call request signal is transmitted to the public switched telephone network through the first port, the third port, and the first connection port; and a fourth communication connection is established between the at least one telephone and the public switched telephone network.

The intelligent voice call switching system as described in claim 1, wherein when the current time matches the first predetermined time and the at least one telephone is in a busy state, the switching unit controls the second port and the third port to connect through the channel switching module, and the switching unit establishes the first call connection between the public switched telephone network and the call agent unit based on the incoming call signal.
