Abstract

This invention discloses a climbing aid device for use in mountain emergency rescue and mountaineering activities. The device is designed to hold a rope and includes a housing, controller, power module, and transmission module. Through a hardware design where two transmission modules interact with a screw, the rope used for mountaineering or rescue can be held between the two transmission modules and the screw. A drive unit rotates a tapered rod, gradually reducing the space between the two tapered rods. Furthermore, the friction between the textured surface of the tapered rod and the rope generates a strong clamping force, ensuring stable rope fixation, high reliability to prevent knots or wear, lightweight and portable design, applicability to various environments and terrains, and modular design.

Claims

1. A climbing aid for holding a rope (2), the climbing aid (1) comprising at least: a housing (11) including a receiving space (111), two openings (112), and a screw (113), wherein the receiving space (111) is opened inside the housing (11), the two openings (112) are opened on two corresponding end faces of the housing (11), the receiving space (111) communicates with the outside of the housing (11) through the openings (112), and the screw (113) is disposed on the inner end face of the housing (11) and extends toward the receiving space (111); a controller (12) disposed in the receiving space (111); At least one power module (13) is disposed in the accommodating space (111) and electrically connected to the controller (12), the power module (13) being used to supply the power required for the operation of the controller (12); and two drive modules (14) are laterally adjacent to the accommodating space (111) and electrically connected to the controller (12), each of the drive modules (14) including a drive member (141) having a bearing (1411). The device includes a tapered rod (142) mounted on the bearing (1411), and a gear (143) disposed between the drive member (141) and the tapered rod (142). The screw (113) extends between the two tapered rods (142), wherein the rope (2) enters the receiving space (111) through an opening (112) and is clamped between the two tapered rods (142) and the screw (113).

2. The climbing aid device as described in claim 1, wherein a knob (114) connected to the screw (113) is further provided at the outer end of the housing (11), the knob (114) controlling the operation of the screw (113).

The climbing aid device as described in claim 1, wherein the housing (11) is provided with a cover (115) on the end face of the screw (113), and two engaging members (116) including a through hole (1161) are respectively provided on the two sides of the screw (113), and two holes (117) corresponding to the through hole (1161) are provided on the end face of the housing (11) with the opening (112); the housing (11) is further provided with a connecting rod (118), which passes through the hole (117) and the through hole (1161) respectively to cover the cover (115) onto the housing (11).

4. The climbing aid device as described in claim 3, wherein a protruding rod (119) is provided between the screw (113) and the engaging member (116), and the protruding rod (119) is inserted into the conical rod (142).

5. The climbing aid as described in claim 1, wherein the drive (141) is a geared motor.

6. The climbing aid as claimed in claim 1, wherein the drive member (141) is further covered by a groove (144), and the bearing (1411) passes through the groove (144) and is mounted on the tapered rod (142).

7. The climbing aid as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tapered rod (142) is a cone that tapers toward the direction away from the drive member (141).

8. The climbing aid as claimed in claim 1, wherein the surface of the tapered rod (142) is provided with a plurality of grooves (1421) that generate friction with the rope (2).

9. The climbing aid device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the gear (143) of one transmission module (14) meshes with the gear (143) of another transmission module (14).

10. The climbing aid device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the climbing aid device (1) further includes a switch (15) electrically connecting the controller (12) and the power module (13) respectively, the switch (15) being used to start or stop the operation of the controller (12).
