Abstract
Claims
1. A structure for an electrical connector, comprising: An insulating body has a first docking space inside and a plurality of terminal slots on both sides of the first docking space; And a terminal group, which is disposed in the terminal slots of the insulating body. The terminal group includes a plurality of signal terminals arranged in two horizontal directions and a plurality of ground terminals arranged in two horizontal directions. The first mating portion of the signal terminals and the second mating portion of the ground terminals both extend into the first mating space, while the first soldering portion of the signal terminals and the second soldering portion of the ground terminals both extend out of the insulating body. A common area that is laterally connected is formed between the second mating portion and the second soldering portion of the ground terminals.
2. The structure of the electrical connector as described in claim 1, wherein the insulating body further has a second mating space with a length shorter than the first mating space, and an isolation portion is provided between the first mating space and the second mating space.
3. The structure of the electrical connector as described in claim 2, wherein the second mating space is provided with two additional rows of multiple signal terminals.
4. The structure of the electrical connector as described in claim 1, wherein the insulating body is further provided with downwardly protruding positioning terminals corresponding to the two ends of the terminal group, the two positioning terminals engaging with the fitting portion inside the insulating body and the pull-out hole located below, and the fitting portion on both sides of the positioning terminals having an outwardly formed barbed structure.
5. The structure of the electrical connector as described in claim 1, wherein the terminal group has two rows of grounding terminals at a distance between the two rows of signal terminals.
6. The structure of the electrical connector as described in claim 1, wherein the signal terminals and the ground terminals of the terminal group are formed inside the insulating body by in-mold injection molding.
7. The structure of the electrical connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein a fixing portion with barbed structures on both sides is formed between the first mating portion and the second soldering portion of the signal terminals, and the fixing portion is located approximately at the common area of the grounding terminal.
8. The structure of the electrical connector as described in claim 1, wherein the suspended ends of the first mating portion of the signal terminals, which are bent inwards, and the second mating portion of the grounding terminals, which are bent inwards, respectively form a first abutting portion and a second abutting portion that contact the wall surface of the terminal slot.
