Abstract

This invention comprises a pull rod body and two engaging components. The pull rod body has a rotation axis, a connecting section, and two cable connecting sections. The connecting section has two opposite ends on the rotation axis and a notch in the middle. Each cable connecting section protrudes from both ends of the connecting section and extends in the opposite direction along the rotation axis. Each engaging component is detachably attached to the connecting section and has a protruding engaging post. The two engaging posts of the two engaging components extend coaxially towards each other. The engaging components of this invention can be detached from the pull rod body and can be replaced individually. This solves the problem that existing one-piece steering clutch rods require replacement of the entire rod when worn, and cannot be used with different models or specifications of input gears. It provides a steering clutch pull rod assembly that saves on operating costs and improves operational flexibility.

Claims

1. A steering clutch linkage assembly, comprising: a linkage body including a rotation axis, a connecting segment, and two cable connecting segments; the connecting segment including two opposite ends on the rotation axis, a first side surface and a second side surface facing opposite directions, and a notch located at the middle of the connecting segment and penetrating the first side surface and the second side surface; each cable connecting segment being rod-shaped and capable of connecting a cable; the two cable connecting segments respectively protruding from the two ends of the connecting segment and extending in opposite directions along the rotation axis; and two engaging members, each engaging member being detachably engaged with the connecting segment and having an engaging post protruding therefrom; the two engaging members being adjacent to the two ends of the connecting segment, and the two engaging posts of the two engaging members extending coaxially towards each other.

2. The steering clutch lever assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lever body includes two coupling portions adjacent to the two ends of the connecting segment, and the notch is located between the two coupling portions; each coupling portion includes a groove recessed in a first side of the connecting segment and extending toward a second side of the connecting segment; two engaging members are respectively engaged in the two coupling portions, and each engaging member includes an insert that is engaged in the groove of a corresponding coupling portion.

3. The steering clutch linkage assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the engagement portions includes a flat abutting surface extending from the bottom of the groove of the engagement portion to a second side of the connecting section; each engagement member includes an insert, the insert including an insert body having a flat insert bearing surface; the abutting surface of each engagement portion abuts against the insert bearing surface of the insert body of the corresponding engagement member.

4. The steering clutch linkage assembly as described in claim 3, wherein each of the engagement portions has a groove with an opening facing the same direction as the recess, and a groove bearing surface facing the opening and facing the same direction as the top abutment surface of the engagement portion; the insert has an insertion portion protruding from its insert body, the insertion portion having a flat insert top abutment surface facing the same direction as the insert bearing surface of the insert body; the insertion portion of each engaging member is fitted into the groove of a corresponding engagement portion, and the insert top abutment surface of the insertion portion abuts against the groove bearing surface of the groove.

5. The steering clutch linkage assembly as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, comprising two bolts, each bolt passing through one of the two engaging members and screwed into the connecting section.

6. The steering clutch linkage assembly as described in claim 5, wherein the groove of each engagement portion has a rectangular outline; and the insert portion of each engaging member is correspondingly rectangular.

7. The steering clutch lever assembly as described in any one of claims 2 to 4, wherein the groove of each of the said engagement portions has a rectangular outline; and the insert portion of each engaging member is correspondingly set as a rectangle.

8. The steering clutch lever assembly as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the notch has an arcuate profile.
